I’m not sure what I’m supposed to take away from these clues. Sequel series? Possible character reveal?

Here's a fun idea, maybe we'll get a semi name change after two waves, to give an impression of story progression. UM could be a wave 3 leader leading the counter offensive.

Though I'm sticking with the idea that it could be a tease to titan os (whose primary design work would have been completed to a suitable standard when the 2016 titan poll was conducted)

This was impressive work overall from almost every party here. But it is weird, what could the translated code truly relate to?

Here's something to dabble on when it comes to this: Just because it sounds like something we'd relate to a giant counter strike warranting Omega, or something Soundwave would say, doesn't exactly mean that's what it truly means. Not saying anyone's wrong here, but who knows, this for all we know could be a reveal of something not related to either of those characters... like maybe Star Saber? Dai Atlas? The 7 Destron/Decepticon Generals?

It could be anything at this point. But it is probably Omega Supreme, ain't it?

Discharge, you're jumping the gun a bit there...Taking all the hints together, this clearly means we're getting titan omega supreme who is packaged with micromaster Countdown as os also turns into Countdowns rocket base

See...This is something I've wondered about the "fan polls"...you would think that all the choices would have to be at least conceivable, but how far into concept were they? I mean I know they may want to keep some of those designs under wraps to use for future toys...but come on...are we ever going to get a Hound Prime? Or Arcee Prime?, or Even Shockwave Prime (and no Onyx doesn't count btw... ) ---Show us the designs if they really had them...

I know we have no evidence to back this, but I personally think Hasbro way underestimated the Fandom overall when they did their 2017 poll and Optimus Primal came out the winner. I think when that happened, there were some *Oh crud...now we actually have to do this* moments on the part of the design team, a few sleepless weeks, and begging Takara to come up with a design, even if half-baked, which seems kind of how PotP Optimal Optimus turned out.

Yes but, to be fair, when it came to using a 'Leader Evolution' Gimmick they at least had something to work with when it came to Optimus Primal and Star Saber (and to a lesser extent, Thunderwing). Had anyone else won I'm not sure what they could have done. In fact, we don't know when in the design for POTP did the 'Evolution' Gimmick come in. Perhaps, had someone else other than Primal or Star Saber won, we wouldn't have seen it at all. These guys at least had some pre-established powered up forms. So while Optimal Optimus may have a bit of a goofy integration engineering-wise, there is at least some loose story (and toy)-based precedent for a powered up form. Same with the other two leaders we got, Orion/Optimus and Hot Rod/Rodimus.

IDW Megatron has gone through enough iterations that he could evolve. They also could have fudged 'Megatron' and used the Armada/Energon designs, pulling on Energon Megatron's tank accessory to implement the evolution gimmick.

I assumed Hound would have evolved from G1 style to a Generations version of Bayverse Hound.

Shockwave might have evolved from his pre- shadowplay form, but that seems unlikely. So maybe it'd have been G1 style Shockwave evolving into Energon or Prime style. G1 Shockwave could have become Energon Shockwave's cannon.

I think you are trying to equate the last 2 polls when there were actually very different scenarios.

For the titan poll, there were only 3 choices, and we knew the output would be a titan. In order to pull off design and production within a year of a titan, they would have to have some preliminary designs for all 3.

For the next prime poll, there were 9 choices, and the outcome was just going to be the next prime. At that time there were no size classes even attached to it. Even if Hasbro knew at the time what the gimmick and class would be, 1 year would be plenty of time to fully design and produce one.

So in this case, I'm fairly certain that there are some preliminary designs for Omega Supreme and Scorponok. At the same time, I'm pretty sure there were not any designs for the 8 "losers" of the next prime poll, simply because they wouldn't need to plan that far ahead as they would for a titan.

Yeah, but Hasbro says a lot of things...I'm not suggesting they are being untruthful, I just wonder, why not show some of the designs of the losers, especially the ones that have no practical future application.
