Man, too bad they couldn't then use them to make a live action show narrated by/starring George Carlin. Guess we'll have to settle for Ringo.

You might be doing the weird remolded forearm panels wrong. They actually fit around the outside of the pointy part of the fender panels instead of tabbing in behind like on Moonracer and Chromia. I'll try to get a photo when I get home.

Guess I found my stand-in Masterpiece Astrotrain. But what’s the “Astroforce”...?

Aprface looks good, hoping they do a Snapdragon to compliment him.

I like Spinister, but what is up with that head? It looks way too long.

Disappointed Crosshairs is just Ironhide with a new head, wished they did more, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Apeface looks amazing in gorilla mode/robot, jet could have used more black but he's a must for me.

Spinister, looks great (his copter looks much better than springers which has a lot of inaccuracies to the toon)

Astro train, earth modes galore :) so we can finally ditch the not so cybertronian alts for some figures going forward which is great for me and the characters. Think shuttle mode looks a bit clunky but still.

Crosshairs, I will be picking him up. Dunno if I'd rather have had a tr Kup repaint but at least this way I get the new mold to differentiate the character (repainted Kup figure would have been a bit too similar to orion pax) and I can really pass on Iron hide/ratchet just to have the mold and stick to the third party figures for them.

Me: Fry? Do the thing.
Fry: Do the thing?
Me: Do the thing.
Fry: Shut up and take my money!

A nice selection. After 2 waves top heavy with Autobots its good that the Decepticons get a turn.

Astrotrain
Definitely a step up from TR Astrotrain. This looks like a direct update from the G1 model. And a combined weapon to boot.

Apeface
Most impressive. I'm looking forward on how this transforms. Hasbro/Takara have really been on their game so I'd like to see how they tackle this triple changer. plus I can hold out for a Snapdragon that looks like a dragon and not Trypticons sickly little brothers.

Spinister
On paper, I should love this. A chopper instead of a jet. A double targetmaster. But it just doesn't wow me. I didn't read all the IDW comics so I don't have a character to attach to Spinister.

Crosshairs
Clever. A redeco of Ironhide. It certainly is novel. One recommendation Hasbro, give him a bio and a backstory. You want me to buy the same toy twice, make it seem like its a different toy.

I hope we get a few more reveals before Comic Con. But overall a good selection.

You can pretty much tell from the pictures how he transforms:

robot to beast mode - turn him upside down

beast to vehicle mode - make a square out of him and flip out the jet parts

Wow, Awesome reveals!

Crosshairs is sort of eh, but FINALLY, FRIKKIN FINALLY, Autobot Targetmasters!!!

Spinister is fantastic, and I am so happy to have him. We only need a Crankcase and Fulcrum, and we will have the Scavengers! And his figure looks great too with an awesome transformation!

Apeface, that is a gorgeous figure right there! I am so happy the Headmasters may finally be complete! And it's a great looking update, I love that ape mode.

And Apeface's titan master? the front of the head/back of Spasma is the face, while the back of the head/the legs of the titan master form the beast head! That's clever!

Astrotrain looks incredible! That train mode is incredible! That is the train mode that we always needed! Shuttle is ok, and robot mode looks great! He is a fantastic looking figure right off the bat.

Really nice and surprising reveals! Perfection!

Can someone define tender for this situation? I work in POS and tender only means one thing to me outside of soft.

Ah, thanks. Red lasers, blue lasers ;)^

I am honestly completely surprised there are people who don't know what a Tender is. It's something I never thought wouldn't be something everyone picked up at some point, huh.

I was sort of thinking the same, though i think that I may keep him with Swiper, makes for a great G2 sort of gun for him.

Hm... Thinking about it, a reshell of Counterpunch's vehicle mode and robot mode could serve as a good base for Pointblank and Mirage could also be reshelled for Sureshot. Then we just need a new deluxe Cyclonus for having a complete lineup of the original Targetmasters

Crosshairs I'm a little saddened by. Relegated to a mold share. He was my first Autobot Targetmaster as a kid so he has that special meaning to me.

I mean the Cybertronian alt mode suits him, and he looks good in robot mode ... but not original mold.

Mine too! He’s got his cartoon comic face instead of that really cool sculpted one the toy had. I loved that thing so easy to transform and some actual articulation. I actually had cut the bar on his legs to give him separate knee bends. I must have him.

Well, Apeface is certainly unexpected. I'm glad to see that he looks to still be TR compatible. That was too good a system to just be left behind. I do wonder how well his Titan Master face will match. Plus, I think this will make Apeface one of an elite few that can wield themselves as weapons.

Astrotrain is an... Odd choice. I don't feel like there was a huge outcry for this figure to be updated. Like, I'm not trying to be contrarian, but the TR figure is still damn great, and I can't shake the feeling that out of all the figures that they could have picked, this is kind of a headscratcher. Plus, one thing that's kinda funny, due to the new smaller size across the board, Siege leaders, (judging by Leader Prime) are only about the same size as the old Astrotrain mold anyhow.

Crosshairs is a cool addition. It's always nice when more obscure characters get thrown a bone like this. He looks good, while personally not for me, I'm glad he exists for those that may have been waiting.

Eh, mainly it's just the exposed wheels. I put the front ones down to the difficulties of reconciling the shoulder design, and I'd guess the rear ones were done that way for the sake of easy assembly. The middle of the tail being gray instead of darker green... you can't really complain because it's made of bits that have to be gray for the robot mode. The cartoon is flat-out cheating.

Well, SIEGE Leaders would be taller if their robot modes were a consolidated mass instead of being broken up into a core robot and armor.

I am really liking this Astrotrain (Yay for them finally doing him as a steam engine again!) He's probably going to be close to the height of the TR version (which I'm perfectly fine with, I think that's a good size for most of the triple changers) because the engine mode's tender does not look to be part of his robot mode mass by default.

Hey, the SIEGE Ironhide mold already has the feet sticking out in back. Honestly, what it lacks compared to Crosshairs' original altmode is protrusion at the front.
