It's also because the Voyager set is "Most Iconic Hero vs. Most Iconic Villain" for both series.-Kanrabat- wrote:Arcee rock that Chun-Li cosplay" Why, oh why is she packed in with the lame-ass Ken and not Bison? Sure, deluxes two-pack and voyagers two-packs, but it would have been better two sets with one of each.

Wolfman Jake wrote:Now that Takara Tomy and Capcom have teamed up once, perhaps they will again? It's not just Street Fighter celebrating over 30 years right now, but Mega Man as well! Let's see a nice "Transformers X Rockman" limited series, Takara! Besides the requisite hero Mega Man, several existing Robot Masters from the series are already "Transformers" of a sort and are just begging for their own converting figures, like Turbo Man (dragster), Tengu Man (goblin plane), Ground Man (drill tank), Galaxy Man (UFO), and Nitro Man (motorcycle). A few others, while they don't actual transform in game, already look like they have "alt mode kibble" and could easily be designed to convert into their themed vehicles or objects, like Heat Man (Zippo lighter), Dive Man (submarine), Gyro Man (helicopter), Charge Man (steam engine locomotive), and Commando Man (tank). Capcom and Takara, please make this happen!
Black Hat wrote:Mega Man X Transformers would rock (no pun intended). Not sure what molds they'd use though.
Nope. I'm trying to not spend money (going really well lol) and this was a Mandarake Special. I saw something cheap I needed, and to make the shipping worthwhile I usually try to find another thing to pair it up with. This order, it ended up being this Ken/Li set. I'll get the Ryu/Bison set eventually, but I'm in no rush.-Kanrabat- wrote:I do hope you got Ryu VS Vega as well? Because for simple repaints, it's pretty damn creative! After the video reviews I still think Bison and Chun-Li are the best, but Ryu and Ken are not too bad in the end.
These are the Japanese releases. In Japan, M. Bison is known as Lord Vega. When the games came over to the West, Capcom's North American branch decided to switch around the names of Vega, M. Bison, and Balrog.Stormtalon wrote:Don't you see...
For you, mistaking M. Bison for Vega was the most profound blunder of your life, but for me... it was a Wednesday.

Stormtalon wrote:Thanks. I did read that a few pages up, but couldn't figure out how to work it in with the joke. I wasn't trying to be critical of the photo gallery, just a bit silly.
