We have some more news regarding the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Sentinel Prime. Firstly, we have an extra image of his box from a Korean distributor site. The listing also claims he is a voyager, which is something fans were not sure of yet. Further confirming that is a case breakdown thanks to JT Prime who tells us that the wave 9 voyager case will contain the following:

Ugh, BB movie cliffjumper? That means we will be getting another version of bumblebee later in the line . I really wish the BB movie just got its own advanced toy-line. Then we could have had all those figures when the movie came out, not 2 years later.

Fellow Seibertron user, CommunistPrime has uncovered listings for upcoming Studio Series releases, and while most we have heard of before (indeed we have recently seen in package images of Sentinel Prime and what Rampage redeco Skipjack looks like as Devastator's leg) there is still a suprise hidden within, that of Transformers Bumblebee movie Cliffjumper!





The listings are for:

Voyager Class Scrapper

There is also a Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave listed which is probably a Deluxe Class to fit in with his Dark of the Moon release.

This is all very interesting. Cliffjumper means it's almost guaranteed we'll get a Cybertronian Bumblebee retool eventually. I'm really curious to see what they'll do with Soundwave because he never Transformed in RotF.

This is exciting indeed. Studio Series has a mix of hit and misses for me thus far. With CJ being discovered, I wonder if we'll get other G1esque versions based off of the bots and cons we witnessed in the opening scene to "Bumblebee".

This was brought up in another thread last month, but I am here to say it now: the new SS Bumblebee is the best Deluxe Bumblebee figure we have gotten.

I love this toy. He is really solid, accurate, fun, and spot on. He is so much fun to pose around and to play with, and the aesthetic is wonderful. This to me is the best of the best deluxe Bumblebees

Honestly, with all the advancements and improvements that have been made with the deluxe movie Bumblebee designs since TLK, and especially with this one (compressed chest, thinned shins, bulkier forearms, fender bit sticking out less from thigh, more angled wings, etc.), I think we're nearing perfection. The only major advancement to be made now is fixing how far the wheels stick out to the sides from the back.
