ok so i work a blockbuster and we got this movie shipped in today. i know a while back someone posted a link about it. i have and and will watch it soon ill give a review and let u guys know if its even worth the rent. the cover is pretty kewl though and the robot on the cover looks interesting.

Oh god...when i first saw that on Youtube i tought it was fan-made...who's gonna watch THAT anyway!!!

Robot Jox is amazing, though. It's SO awful it goes all the way around and comes back to being awesome. I mean, you can't top dialogue like this:

[Politician] We can't let them have one inch of American soil.
[Cowboy Pilot] Soil's just DIRT.

I'm going to rent Transmorphers and enjoy it the way it was intended... get a group of friends together and MST3K it the whole way through.

oh god no one should watch this movie it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad.... ok heres the plot and need i say spoilers??

in 2009 earth found a planet that had life. they sent out a message of peace. 5 yrs later the robots came to earth(in a asteroid type shape) and have taken over(they were bad) they changes earth atmosphere(so its kinda like the real world in the matrix series) then fast forword to 300 yrs later. finally humans have decided to fight back for good. most of the movie deals with the army ppl fighting and stuff about how to kill them. their horrible acting would have done the trick. 10min into the movie and u see a robot finally. its there for like 1 min and the rest fo the time its the bad actors again. a scientist has an idea to take one reprogram it and use it as a spy blah blah blah. find out that their techno-organic kinda like the BWBM were. 1 of the army ppl turns out to be a android that the scientist built and the army android dude didnt know he was an android....? they fight back they send the android in and he like sends a virus or something into the robots and it kills them end of bad guys..ill be honest i fastforward to the end it was very hard to watch.

ok there was a very bad delay on the voices so they woudl talk and the voice wouldnt match up THE ENTIRE MOVIE DID THIS. wors then any old Godzilla movie. atleast they were speaking another language, the actors were all speaking english and still didnt match up. robots sucked, cgi sucked, the actors should be shot for being so bad....ya dont waste ur money on this...its not even worth the laughs. heres my short notes i took during the film.any Q's just ask.

-2009
-earth found planet with life sent out message of peace
-planet sends out asteroid looking robots to earth.
-they came 5 yrs later
-destroying earth, changing the atmosphere
-crappy CGI
-crappy acting
-first 10 min no robots then there's 1 for 1 min. upper body turns into a cannon
-bug backpacks(any ppl have)
-voices don't match with lips worse then old Godzilla movies. there's a delay on it
-fighting very bad
-for being a future army all they wear is leather and goggles.
-about an hr into it finally the robots come back
-faces remind me of tf movie swindle.
-their techno-organic like the Beast machines
-1 of the solders is a android who didn't know at time theres no sounds when theres sould be

The CGI looks horrible, it looks very cheesy and in the trailer, the "transmorphing letters" look stupid.

Just watched the trailer. I was laughing at the last part when that guy slowly turns around and the big giant robot just transmorphs into a cannon. Somehow I found that scene funny...

Hey, maybe this will usher in an E-bay resurgence of old, transforming-robot videos, like Gobots (both the Classic and the Playskool version), or or that Hot Wheels Robo-Wheels one-shot.
