They can finally fold down and hang on his back instead of being wings coming out of his robot mode neck. They don't have the spring loaded missile launchers, so they were able to make the wings much better. I love the original Silverbolt toy, but the wings drove me nuts. I can't wait for this one.
I don't disagree with you about being a bucket of cold water/wet blanket, it's something I try to avoid but something about the blocking of those pages of Prime enjoying nature only to then accidentally wreck it just struck a nerve. Felt unnecessary, cruel and uncomfortable while also making Prime look like a bumbling idiot that's never been to an alien planet - but there's a counterpoint there that these were only pencils, so that could be the point! I do hope the new series ends up being good and will stick with it, just getting a weird vibe from the first issue + 5 pages or so of issue 2. There's an edge to it, this element of excessive violence that feels out of place in the immediate moment. There can be a place for that and it could be used as an opportunity to tell a compelling story - maybe not the most original story, but a compelling one.SkyFire Prime wrote:I concur, I think our friends have gotten a tad crotchety. Really enjoying Void Rivals and this new Transformers comic, I have nothing critical to say.
