He's coming in Wave 2. Prime and Saber are the ones coming first, though, so they're all we've seen so far.lonrac wrote:Re: the New alternity, so what happened with Fortress???

That's what I wrote.Flux Convoy wrote:Oh, and I'm surprised nobody jumped on this yet. Jetfire's gun makes another noise when you flick the sound trigger/activator upwards instead of down. It can be used to interrupt the countdown/pinging. Nobody else discovered this? For shame Armada fans!

Flux Convoy wrote:To this day, I do not get the love for Armada, the cartoon. It's pretty wretched. The first half of the first episode is great. Then, straight downhill. Go watch it again, I'll wait. Yes, some concepts were introduced that were interesting. Most were introduced poorly or in a completely confusing manner. Nearly the entirety of the show is difficult to watch due to how poor the writing and dialogue is. I beg you to watch it again and reconsider how you view it. The rose-tinted recollection is hard to swallow.
The comics however and later Energon, good stuff. I was sad to see the book cancelled and was very interested in seeing where it was going. The dimension hopping? It's what my avatar and sig, my entire Seibertron persona is based on.

I knew but had no interest in killing the joke.

I'd rather have a Micro(man)lady Misha in the yellow and orange outfit. Surprised we got Kicker and not her. Dunno what the beef is with Microman but they are great figures. Especially for their time. They preceded all the super articulated stuff that Toybiz was producing for Marvel Legends.
"Slag to Slug" was most likely a Hasbro mandate since it's a name that would appear in things beyond the video game. Should they made a toy of Slug, UK children would be buying a toy whose name is slur word if Hasbro had left it as "Slag".Dammitman wrote:I was listening to several of your podcasts at work when you were discussing Fall of Cybertron game. The issue of Slag/Slug came up and I wanted to point out that Borderlands 2 came out shortly after FoC and it too was released in the UK and they did not change their Slag weapons to Slug weapons. So, What does High Moon have to say to THAT!?

Using a single defined name in everything creates a better sense of unity and uniformity across multiple media formats and global markets, which is a much better and smarter business practice than to otherwise use inconsistency with the name.Dammitman wrote:Your explaination makes sense but why not just leave Slag in the game and sell the toy as Slug in the UK? It wouldn't be the first Time Hasbro has made a faux pas like that. (Transformers 2007 Devestator in film/Brawl in toy)
