Two Fisted Charger: Updated in Color

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Two Fisted Charger: Updated in Color

Postby Charger426 » Wed Jan 23, 2008 8:20 pm

I haven't drawn my O.C. Charger in a while, so today felt like a good time to do it. His alt is a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T.
Here's a quick bio..
He's an Autobot Recon specialist who is proficient with small arms and is comfortable behind enemy lines while sabotaging targets of opportunity. One of this happy go lucky soldier's down falls is that he is a bit of a renegade and daredevil, often needing Ratchet's services in patching him back up. During times of great stress, he uses his self effacing humor to try and lighten up a stressful situation or diffuse any conflict among his fellow autobots.
Primary armaments are twin 50mm semi-automatic pistols with interchangable rounds (i.e. armor-piercing, explosive, etc.)
Secondary armaments include optional shoulder mounted missile pod and rocket launchers housed in his shins/ trunk.
In vehicle mode is capable of reaching 175 m.p.h. in 4.2 seconds in a straight away but has very poor handling in curves and twisty roads.

And now in color

If I could Translate Sherade from an '87 Mustang GT to his Boss 302 form, Charger here would have a new friend. Well...Sherade is evil as sin.... :P
As for the art, lookin good. You've gt that talent for inking, and I'll say it again. Liking the detail as well.
BTW, if you ever feel like it, I think you should fit him with either Centerline Indy or American Racing Torq-Thrust rims. :P
Good job as expected, stay cool with it.

Actually you wanna know what I prefer? I like Chargers with the dog dish hub caps, you know, the 'sleeper' look. It looks bone stock, but it'll blow your doors off.

Yeah, true. I do like American Racing Smoothies too, they give that look with a bit of flare. IMO, American Racing makes some of th best rims in general.
I have a question. Have you ever thought of getting a kitbash of Charger?

That's nice. I like the feel the color gives of with the shine and detailing.
I'm getting into coloring now, care to share some stuff?
