To sell toys, obviously. I've been waiting awhile for the premiere, which is Sunday, but I've mainly held off on seeing previews. First impression:
Looks like Marve's trying to immitate Batman: Brave and the Bold. To put it out there, I enjoyed B&B immenssly, perhaps even more than I ever did Batman: The Animated Series(and flames and fire in 3..2...), but that's mainly because for that show it knew it was campy, and ran with it.
Because I'm a bigger Marvel fan than DC, I'll give it a more than fair shot. I like the animation in the promo, and Spidey sounds like he's quipping a lot, but hopefully it isn't a joke after joke after joke kind of show, because I just don't see that working for Spidey.
Oh, and the show's supposed to have a lot of team ups. I'm hoping for Darkhawk
