The new Argos catologue is out on the January 19th (not this Saturday but next) plus the Manager also mentioned about the individual catalogue numbers too!

Hopefully Argos will get this right!

TRU had FOC Brawl. Constructicon looking colours and wardrobe-yness aside i'd have got him if they had the others.didn't see much else noteworthy

I was in three different Smyths stores over the last few days, and all three had very little in the way of Transformers. The usual display had been reduced to 1/4 of what they had before.

Norwich is boring, recently.

Was almost tempted into buying the Combaticons, but then I remembered I really don't like them.

I did get PRiD Rumble from TRU though. Waiting patiently for Steve to show up.

Problem with dodgy country econemy, shops are alot more careful what they order in, and there aint many big toy selling shops around anymore and with the stupid amount of dfferent toys compared to 10-15 years ago transformers was always going to become sparce unless something big comes along. Ive got children aged 0, 2 and 4 and nieces and nephews aged 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7. None of them or their friends are interested in tf's, its all ben 10, wrestling marvel or batman. Even Angry Birds so tf's are always gonna be the casualty instore.

Toys r us have a constant stream of generations atm, but smyths say they aint even on their manifests :BANG_HEAD:

What I don't understand is that when Classics launched transformers was not mainstream, no movieverse no animated no prime, however Classics figures were widely available, I remember seeing Astrotrain, Mirage and even Ultra Magnus/Skywarp all over the place and I don't just mean toy stores, Supermarkets, Wilkinsons even bloody Woolworths stocked these guys, yet now Transformers is enjoying its first real success since the death of G1 yet can I find any CHUG figures anywhere? No is the answer, missed out on Hound, Thundercraker, Wheeljack and Shockwave forcing me to pay inflated prices on eBay to complete my collection.

Yeah. but also think what was mainstream back then. You can now add Avengers, Angry Birds, Bakugan, that other thing like bakugan which i can never remember the name of, Turtles, Power Rangers Samurai has done very well, Lego is everywhere again Batman is huge again. It aint just transformers that got very popular recently.

Thank you. Im glad Argos have finally seen sense and listed each figure with its own number. I hated shopping at Argos using their old system to the point where I wouldn't bother with them. Now we know instantly if they have the exact figure we are looking for.

Though I already have T-Tron and Ultra Magnus ( and Starscream )from a trip to the US for about £12 each in a sale at a store called Super Target. Not opened them yet though.

They had Starscream as well. I didn't get his sku number, but he was on the shelf. Who makes up this wave case? I'm guessing OP, SS, TT and UM.

Ok, so the new Argos catalogue is out, so I popped into Bedford town centre to see whats what.

I am only iterested in the TF Prime lines, as BotShots and Cyberverse are more for the younger end in my opinion?

They had 1x Thundertron Voyager, 1x Ultra Magnus Voyager, 1x Hotshot Deluxe and 1x Airachnid!

I've no idea what to do with my Thundertron. He doesn't fit anywhere in my collection. I bought him as I thought I might be missing out on something cool. Fiddled with him for 20mins or so trying to get his head positioned higher. I take it his beard is supposed to be half hidden behind his chest?

Between buying him and Ultra Magnus today, that's a lot of blue going on.

Ps why is Thundertron no.8 in the series if he's out before Skyquake who is no.7? Same with UM who is no.6 and Dreadwing no.5.

Sometimes you look at a figure and go "that seems pretty cool"
Sometimes you go "I'd rather like to have that figure"
Sometimes you just really want a figure.
And then, very occasionally, one comes along that makes you scream "MOTHER OF GOD neither my collection nor my life re complete until I own that figure"-and more often than not with these types, you can't even pinpoint the reason why.
Yeah.
Thundertron.
Time to find me a shop.
