Found platinum edition perceptor and blaster at toys r us Gateshead today for 129.99. Will upload picture later when I get home. They also had the platinum edition seeker squadron for 89.99

So maybe it isn't so far fetched to think that Tryps will stomp his way into TRU as well.

I'm a jammy bugger! Coz I noticed that Intel Ops Platinum Perceptor & Blaster in Forbidden Planet, Glasgow & they had it going for £119.99, so....I bought it...& when they rang it through...it came up £130 something!(I believe TRU are selling it for around £130 something too) but they let it go for the £119.99 price!

A bargain

+ if Forbidden Planet, Glasgow has that in....then it stands a chance that TRU, Govan will have that in also(unfortunately at full price!) They probably have the Platinum Coneheads in too.(since posting this....I've checked TRU, Govan & they do NOT have any of the Platinum range in! that's not to say that they won't be getting those in eventually).

Meanwhile....very good news....A1 Toys, Glasgow City Centre have the full Platinum range in(Seekers, Blaster & Perceptor, Insecticons & wait for it....trypticon YES! TRYPTICON!) here's evidence here....https://m.facebook.com/a1toys

Cool, even though the plastic on Blaster does tend to feel rather cheap + the set is missing Rewind! but deffo a big improvement on the £130+ asking price at TRU.

Tbh I've never owned either Blaster or Perceptor so I'm not too worried about some of the issues with them, not at that price! Did consider getting Trypticon but for less money I get 3 figures I really wanted, although I may have to sell a child to get Trypticon at some point!

A new branch of The Entertainer has opened in Workington, Cumbria. They've only been open for a week or two, but their Transformers stock is pretty good. When they first opened they had Fall of Cybertron Blaster and Thrilling 30 Blitzwing and Sandstorm, but they've all sold out now. For Combiner Wars they have all six Protectobots, Voyager Cyclonus and (surprisingly) Legends Rodimus, while for Robots in Disguise they have waves 3 and 4 of the Warriors (Jazz, Sideswipe, Night Ops Bumblebee and Gold Armour Grimlock), both Deployers and the first wave of Mini-Cons (Slipstream, Divebomb, Sawback and Dragonus). I was tempted to buy Deployer Fracture because he looked like a decent figure in box, but I've heard so many reviewers call him terrible that I decided not to. The store also has a hefty number of that Age of Extinction twin pack with the Deluxe Silver Knight Optimus and the G1 coloured Voyager Grimlock, which I might buy.

It probably varies from branch to branch. My Entertainer is still only brand spanking new, so the line-up I mentioned above is more than likely going to be the only Transformers-related stuff they're going to stock for a while, and they won't get anything else in for at least a year and a half.

Even the tru near me refuses to get new combiner wars stock in...though I did take advantage of their sale on the deluxe to nab firefly and for now I reluctantly passed on dragstrip

Went in to Toys R Us Warrington on Friday to see their Force Awakens stuff, pretty cool. Checking out the Tformers their I saw a beast hunters voyager Shockwave for £15 think they only had 1 on the shelf, first time seeing him in stores (I bought mine months ago online) they have the Blaster/Perceptor set and the 3 coneheads too, not much else of interest.

Going back to Star Wars, I know it's a bit off topic but has anyone seen any force Awakens 6" Black Series figures around? I thought Toys R Us would have had them but they didn't. Had a look in Smyths St. Helens yesterday and they didn't have anything new in terms of Transformers, in fact it was a smaller section than last time (They also didn't have the black series figures)

Everyone seems to be going mad for the BB8, which can be controlled remotely by an app on your phone, as they sell out pretty quick!

According to someone on the UK Sightings page on TFW2005.....CW Ultra Magnus has been spotted at Forbidden Planet! let's hope this is the start of him flooding out at other retailers too(A1 Toys, Hamleys ect) It's about bloody time if it is!

Listen! FP came through with the Platinum Edition Blaster & Perceptor! & we kinda already knew we'd be seeing Ultra Magnus turn up at some point in the bricks and mortar stores! now! it isn't just FP that'll stock Magnus, A1 Toys, Hamleys, Smyths Toys and eventually TRU will stock it, now FP haven't always came through when it comes to CW figures! remember a while back....when we got reports that they were going to be getting Motormaster in! & it never turned up(or at least not in every FP store, if any). But I'm more optimistic this time, with Magnus

Sorry to be pessimistic stu, but I have serious doubts (would like to be proved wrong however). For one thing, shouldn't we have got thunder cracker before both forms of megs? Though speaking of, I've only seen armada megs in shops. With transformers distribution in the UK, we should prepare ourselves for anything while expecting nothing.
