I can see both sides of this, as obviously I'm British but at the same time I'm willing to bet that a fair amount of traffic to this site cones from the states.

Seibertron is doing this as his livelihood so if what's to focus on US releases (unless we get something first of course) then it's the staffs prerogative.

If we have multiple actual sightings, then yes, I can front-page it. But it is not urgent news with NYCC happening at the same time, and it's TFW content rather than our own. I'm sure you understand that! Stuartmaximus, can you head to a TRU and take a photo yourself? I do not news content from another board unless as a last resort. Insurgent, do you have photos or an email to add to the news?

As for 'what we say, goes' - yes, that is how a news staff works (we're not moderators, we're news staff, there's a distinction). If you have a suggestion or comment or complaint about how we operate - please tell us directly. I can only improve on our work if I'm told what isn't working. Side (and snide) comments are not helpful, especially at a busy time like this.

I hope you can understand, and that you keep helping us out to keep a UK presence on the front page too.

(And just so you know - I live in the UK too. I care about the UK section too. But I need the more active toy hunters to help me out in this. I have no time to go shopping for leisure or pleasure.

I currently am working three jobs, one of which takes over my nights, the other four working days, and my partner just left for work for three months. I am not able to cover absolutely everything, and am starting to get tired of how the news staff's work is received. See message above.)

Difficult to photograph something that the TRU(Glasgow) doesn't have in!(Brainstorm, Ultra Magnus ect) + Brainstorm are mostly being spotted at B&M! but AGAIN.....not all B&Ms have those in at the moment

Oh & if or when i do manage to get a photograph....your picture upload restriction presents yet another problem! & yes I've tried downscaling & resizing....but that isn't always successful

I'll keep an eye out on the stores near me for sightings.

I'm sorry for my comment last night. Someone pissed me off at the beer festival by insulting all northerners. Which already triggered my patrioticism so it got carried over when I got home.

I only have a Facebook message from the guy, but I've known him for years so if he says there's 4 in, then there's 4 in. Don't have a PIC as I've personally not seen them.

I think some people are getting a bit carried away over the ultra magnus sighting deal the only way of truly knowing is go to the stores yourself

im going to toys r us in warrington on Wednesday or Thursday and if they have any in stock I will tell you

and for anybody interested that's the same one that has hot spot and cyclonus in stock

I don't just buy transformers I buy all sorts of different stuff im like a hodge podge type of person

oh and out of curiosity I bought from b and ms that Chinese bootleg set of movie arcee and movie swindle

TJ Hughes now have Generations Voyagers so I wonder if that means Home bargains will too (as they are a subsidiary of TJ Hughes). Thought I better mention it in case it was a potential sign Home Bargains might get some Voyagers in too.

Also TK Maxx seem to be getting some of the Leftover Age of Extinction toys from America as they had The Energon Scout/basic class Grimlock packed with the ROTF Legion Optimus Prime priced at £9.99 which I bought. As well as some of the RC Transformers I understand have been showing up a bit lately in discount stores.

Just popped into tru on my way to sainsburys. They have 1 magnus left on the shelf for 37 quid. I took a photo which I will post shortly when my phone has some charge. They also had platinum coneheads, the blaster preceptor pack and a platinum trypticon for 200 quid. Agaon, I'll get the photo up soon.

Platinum Trypticon? Now that's interesting. ..out of the sets I had pegged that one to be a instant no show.

Also TK Maxx have those two pack sets in? Nice, I still need to get the optimus/ grimlock (I love the cruellock terrorcon mold) and the stinger/ slug set.

Been to Stockton today and my b&m is also fully restocked with generations voyagers if anyone needs any.

Oh and home bargains have the AoE legion figures in, mainly the strafe and G1 Grimlock in.

I really need to get down to portack lane at some point and check the situation there.

I like that um is going for a better price then megs, I like that price.

All leaders are going that price. So the armada megs is also that. They had no G1 megs.

I've never seen g1 megs at my tru, which is annoying as that's the version I was after. My armada megs is still perfectly adequate for the character...plus a lot of fun too

Yeah, apparantly we did have a coupel in but they went within a day. And I agree, the original Armada Megs is perfect for the character. So much fun with all his gimmicks. But then, I really enjoy all the armada toys.
