a squeak I heard from the left arm socket which I thought was the ball going round in the joint was actually the plastic shearing. The ball never moved, the socket was too tight. His arm came off.
I've got to find some money for a replacement now before I can't find any and shelves are totally overridden by oil pans and insecticons.

That's exactly what happened to my Leadfoot. I took that back to Tesco and they swapped it for another one no problem, the replacement will never be transformed while I own it though. Can't you exchange it?
