Picked up Steelshot and Skyhammer today and asked about their suppliers. Apparently they've gotten these in through the Toymaster chain, so PCCs may well be another 'smaller retailer' situation.

I was back in today to pick up Steelshot and Skyhammer and found out that this stock is coming in via the Toymaster chain. This might well mean that they'll be showing up at more of the non mainstream (not TRU/supermarkets) retailers in coming weeks. Or that Hasbro US is unloading excess repackaged stock that the UK arm wasn't initially expecting. Or just that the info from Hasbro UK that we've been working with was a load of hooey.

They're not being repackaged, sweetie. Case in point: the Universe 2.0 overstock the Benelux got last year had Canadian packaging. And there's no such thing as repackaging: just second production runs. Say it with me ;)

And I so hate you British! I want those two, got all the rest of the previous 2-packs

$10. Ha!
Cost me $18.50 with shipping to get it from Hasbro Toy Shop just now.

And that's assuming they actually had it in stock and it wasn't a mistake. Just checked and it's out of stock again. Either I got the only one, or I'm about to get a very disappointing email from HTS.

I hate Double Clutch, his limbs fall off, his pegs are loose, his head is tiny. I have to agree with you guys that hes the worst PCC of them all. Im planning on selling him ASAP on ebay, doubt i'll get much for him. This is why its a good idea to watch peaugh's reviews BEFORE buying :(

um yeah i went to sinsburys bracknell they had some stuff in some rts wave 1 delux and hftd scout and rotf/nest ledgends and a whole fleet of those sainsburys exclusives box of two cool scouts and ledgends ravage and some odd soldiers, but only at 25.99. Their gonna need to reduce to get rid of them.
i got a lego minifig instead, some mad scientist or summat.

but at the tesco home and electrical and furniture and catalougue superstore at the point/the peel centre in bracknell i got rts blue-hailstorm for 6, which was a normal price not an offer, and rts windcharger for 7, which was an epic purchase. I love his guns! :D
they also had in rotf mixmater for 10, hftd leader class starscream for 35, pcc two packs but only sledge, icepick, and car-man, pcc 5s but only repaint and the stupids and stupid and the repaints except for one bombshock and pals hiding, 3 ledgends jetfires, and i think thats it.

Also my thread in toys appears to have been merged here. Damn my ego, I thought finding these might just have bagged me another news credit.

yes, magnets. that's what he had in G1, so thats what those things are. If you read the extended US bio, it talks about them. plus on the US cardback it says "flip out electromagnets!"
its a shame they arent actual little magnets though. that would have been fun.

you need to get tracks or breacher then youd have some clip on guns.

Skulllgrin (and I'd assume, Straxus) also has some pretty badass clip on weapons. He's got a big machine gun, a rocket launcher pod and another thingy, that I'm saying is some kind of grenade launcher, although it may just be meant to be some kind of exhaust unit.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.
