United Kingdom Transformers sightings

Picked up the one step changer Drift today just for curiosity sakes and have to say he's actually quite fun flipping around like a butterfly knife. Totally naff as a display piece though.
Does anyone know if we'll get anymore of the thrilling 30 generations? Relying on Amazon US is getting to be a bit of a pain.

Priced at £59.99 which is about on par with imported versions. No release date but I have it on alert so will let people know when it's available.

Just called Cardiff TRU and they've had a delivery today, Scorn, Slug and Prime at least should be on shelves in the next hour. See you later!

The guy said "Classics Scorn, Slug, Optimus Prime, pretty much everything we're getting". I'm going down there now and I'll report back.

I was there yesterday, I wonder where they could fit anymore transformers in!
Will be very interested to know whether they've got Grimlock in though.

Well, they had the deluxes at last but I didn't see any voyagers possibly because the shelves were crammed with those voyager-looking simplified thingos. The only staff member I saw was on the check-out so I didn't get chance to ask but I'll try again on the weekend. Got Scorn and Slug to keep me going.

We're they in the display near the door?

Yep, the other section was the same old FOC and Beast Hunters stuff, not even reduced.

I went into the smaller of my local tescos tonight and found they'd finally put out some AOE stock, despite the fact they still have 4 unopened boxes of BH deluxes on the top shelf...
They had Dinobot Constructbots and the little Riders, the first time I'd seen these. Dinos were a tenner, but I'm not sure how much the Riders were as they were subject to some erroneous ticketing... They might be £8 as there was a second ticket marked Constructbots where the Power Battlers were sat...
Anyway, apart from them, they had the big flip/smash and change guffsters along with the little one steppers at their usual extortionate prices and the dinobot sparker things at an extremely extortionate price of £15 when I've seen them in Smyths for £13 and that already seems too much.
Basically a load of stuff I don't want, but I'll definitely drain them of some Constructbots. Even if I am a self confessed Constructbot geewunner; these new ones are completely different and very nearly incompatible with what we've had the past year. So while they look neat, I'm a tad apprehensive about them if I can't mix and match them to the extent I have done with previous versions. Especially as they've dropped all 5mm compatibility, which is what made me love the regular Constructbots...
RUINED FOREVER.

I got the Lockdown Dinobot Rider for £6.99 in TRU. While he's a fun little thing these chaps are way overpriced, I'd have been happy to pay £3.99.

Must admit after having seen Vangelus' V-Build, construct-bots strafe is looking might fine to me. Could do with some more paint, in the heads in particular, but bar that he seems ace. Considering getting him and perhaps the Drift rider (yes I know he's meant to have 'bee, but I think drift would look pretty neat) if/as/when I get chance to find it.

So, theyre reissuing MP Grimlock via Toys 'R' Us which is great for the folk that missed it first time around, but what is going on with the pricing over here in the U.K.?
http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Action-Figures-and-Playsets/Transformers-Masterpiece-Grimlock(0125822)?searchPosition=38
This bot has more or less doubled in price for this release, with the current TRU asking price of £99!!
Do TRU UK not realise that most folk either own this already or could possibly import it from the U.S. inclusive of shipping costs for less?
Now if they just put their old stocks of MP Optimus w/trailer out for that price I would snap one up this time!

Re: United Kingdom Transformers sightings
Went to my local TRU in leeds and they had the large AOE display near the entrance. Most of the stuff already mentioned before was there, including the wave 1 generations deluxes. I considered scorn or slug but at 14.99 each I wasn't that impressed. Picked up FOC sideswipe and air raid instead. If they'd had voyager evasion OP I would have grabbed him but otherwise I doubt I'll get many AOE figures.
They also had mp prime and the thrilling 30 leader starscream, neither of which I could afford!
After that I popped to my local asda and they had the one step changers, construct-bots and voyager one steppers from AOE. £9, £10.50 and £20 each for those interested.

So MCM was an absolute blast as usual, and I managed to nab myself a Commander Hardshell who is ace (I didn't even think to pick up another for army building purposes haha) and also the HA basic tailpipe & pinpointer with sgt. noble, who I'm yet to open.
Also grabbed one of those little blindbagged figures on an impulse, and pulled Bayverse OP-quite nice for the little thing it is actually, and not a bad one to end up having gotten.

Visiting my parents in Kent, so popped into TRU Chatham today. They had the AOE wave 1 deluxes so I picked up Scorn. For those that don't have him already, I recommend you get him because he is a really great figure and easily the best deluxe in this wave. I was dsappointed they didn't have the voyagers though.

Picked up the wave 1 deluxes from TRU today, only opened Crosshairs so far but he's super neat! There's a nice little detail that I haven't seen mentioned in that on his right arm the car stereo is moulded on, and the left arm has the dashboard. Also I seem to have the black headlights variant.
I was also taken aback by the new super detailed bios! Take a listen to Scorn's:
Scorn has the jaws of a dino.
Wow! I love his character already! He doesn't even need to be in the movie, I feel he's been a part of the cast since G1!
In actual sightings news, all the simplified stuff was there, but no voyagers to speak of. They also had a few DOTM Skyhammers knocking around for £15 each but I couldn't afford them on top of what I was getting, and besides I am planning to get the Drift version of the mould when it comes out anyway... Mainly due to those swords.

does that imply that Grimlock, Slog, Slug, Slyg and Slig don't have the jaws of a dino?
