Yeah, not much to report from central Bedford.

Bedford Toys 'R' Us have the upscaled-to-Deluxe recent releases and massive amounts of Generations Voyager Soundwave shelfwarming like a good 'un!
Spotted a lone Prime Voyager Darksteel repaint, the green guy and also some of the upscaled Prime & Predaking Voyager two-packs.

No MP or Titans here... :-(

I have a new one to report!

Not main line figures sadly, bit this weekend I spotted the blind packed 30th ani vinyl figures that were showcased at toyfair.

The blind packs along with the TF Prime themed box set of 5 appeared at my local comic shop, the same place I found Magnus, Grimwing and Vertebreak just before they hit mass retail. Theres a good chance they should be out soon and my LCS just doesn't know why 'street date' means.

I have pictures, but I'm on my phone on a train right now, so I can't post them.

Who else is keeping an eye on the Argos website at midnight tonight? I'm curious about what 'exclusives' they'll be getting!

Might try venturing to TRU tomorrow, as well.

The great build up to.... not very much at all at the moment!
Havent been keeping much of an eye on the new TF4 movie toys really, just the odd bit here and there.
Am I right in thinking its the Voyager and Deluxe toys which will be the 'keepers', with the Leaders getting slated for kibble etc? :???:

Yeah, their 'exclusive' line is the two leaders, it seems.

From the website, they're carrying: Nikko Transformable RC OP and BB, AoE Leaders, Intercom Masks, Mega OneStep BB, RC Lockdown and BB, the OP loop car track set, Flip and Change Grimlock and BB, Grimlock track set, Power Attackers, Walkie talkies, One Step Lockdown (with photo of Drift), One Step Drift (with photo of Lockdown), One Step OP, OP Battle Mask, and *one* Kre-O set.

Also, it did not upload at midnight. I checked as I was still working, and all it did was glitch. You have to love Argos sometimes. :P

I hear different things about the two leader class OP and Grimlock, but overall I personally still don't like them.

As you said, the voyagers look decent enough, and some of deluxes actually intrigue me, too. Dinosaurs!

EDIT: AHA! TRU website has added the online listings, but shows most of them as not being in stock yet. Including the Then and Now sets and Masterpiece Grimlock.

EDIT EDIT: The link hates me.

TRU website also has some of the RTS "legion" figures with weapons listed as "new Transformers 4". Prime has a red Menasor sword and Starscream has proper null rays. I'm not the most on the ball but I didn't know about these, could Cyberverse still have a future?

Cyberverse's future seems to be stuck in the past, as they're churning out old molds.
I had spotted that too, but didn't know what to make of it. :-?

I really wouldnt expect the 2 toys r us stores i visit regularly to have a lot in the tf4 label considering last time i checked they had tons of beast hunters figures on the shelf which i guess means they werent really big sellers but then again i dont really know of any children near my area who are into transformers which is really what the supposed demographic is i wonder will the same happen to the age of extinction figures just piled to the shelves with no buyers

im going on tuesday or wednesday to my local stores where ill have around £130 to spend so ill get voyager class grimlock and optimus prime and deluxe class slug, the red spinosaurus whos name ive forgotten, high octane bumblebee and crosshairs

Wish I had £130 to spend on Transformers right now, I would blow it on either MP Soundwave, KO MP Optimus or PE Warden! :D

End of the month tends to be my time to order/buy which means I dont often get out to the shops to offer my 'sightings' but I will try and pop out just so I...

Spotted 'Gimlock' on there myself, and, providing I can muster the funds, I'm determined not to let another beautiful masterpiece slip through my fingers-hell, I remember regretting passing on Grimmy back when he was released before D:
That is, as I say, providing I have the money to blow
Mr O wrote:TRU website also has some of the RTS "legion" figures with weapons listed as "new Transformers 4". Prime has a red Menasor sword and Starscream has proper null rays.

Spotted those aswell and was equally intrigued, though mildly frustrated-I picked up that line back whenthey were first released, sans weapons, and whilst they're hardly bank-breaking it'd be pointless to pick up second copies. Prime's sword I'm not too fussed about, and Bee I could care less, but I do rather like those null rays. Perhaps I'll nab a starscream for the guns and bully nova into ;) ask Nova to paint the other up as another seeker or something

going to check out Tesco later probably. Hoping, not for AOE stuff, because that's probably a bit much, but maybe some cheap BH bits.

Also, Va'al, I replied to your PM.

Not that these two things are in any way related but:

1: I'm intending to do a big trip round as many outlets as possible in my area on Saturday morning to see what actually appears.

2: I have just had my overdraft extended.

Once again. These 2 things are in NO WAY related.

Honest.

Sightings wise... pretty much all the stuff worth having has been cleared out of Sainsburys and Asda in my neck of the woods. Neither shop went down to silly prices unfortunately so I couldn't do an real stock piling for the future. I also have had to stop myself picking up more Flying Steve Minibots. I have no idea how many I have now. I keep finding them around the house in their packaging. In really odd places as well. Weird.

nowt new in Tesco, not even gummi Predaking. :( but I picked up Hardshell for £4.50. Thank goodness I didn't spend £9 on him. It's not a terrible toy by any means, but it's not worth the full price either. Construct Bots were on sale too, but there was none that interested me. They did have TFP Magnus (the Prime retool) that I toyed with buying for a minute or two. If the AOE stuff wasn't supposed to be out on Saturday I'd probably have got him.

Here comes the one-stepper!

Argos had them today. Didn't buy, or even look at them. Home Bargains had the simplified Deluxes, including Windrazor, who did tempt me. Arranged to go to TRU on Saturday for a hunt.

Funny how the warrington one had no banners just the previous lego movie ones i expect the generations voyager grimlock and optimus to be released in the next week or so as they were also no sign of any hero mashers although they also had plenty of kreo and constructbots available
