Ah well I'll probably wait now till after new year to get my hands on them. I there has been a few interested parties at the symths near me in Stockton

Charlton had the CW Voyagers and the RID deluxes. No CW deluxes though. Am going back today as my work mate was not taking my subtle hints.

I have now made it very clear that is what I want. We are headed back at lunchtime.

Did I mention my workmate is awesome?

I'll wait till the new year or AA to pick them up. And a mistake? Sorry but no. I can accept that for one, maybe 2 shops, but not the entire chain in one go. It's a marketing ploy.

its entirely plausable that 1 or 2 shops made an error and saw how they flew off the shelves so the rest joined in.

Which would imply the other shops know it's not meant to be on the shelves and thus put them out early. But that would take a few weeks to trickle out and see how well they are selling. All shops put them out at the exact same time.


Unless the admin folks wanted to keep them till 2015 and an error was made on the shipping notes in the computers saying put them out now, thus meaning every shop put them out at once.

I only care if it's a mistake and they have taken them off the shelves when I get back there in half an hour!

But that implies that all shops put out the same stock at the same times. Either way, i dont care how or why but they are out now, lets just enjoy it while it lasts.

Better than some places in Italy! My family are from the backend of nowhere Sicily and there's probably not a toy shop until you hit Palermo, which is almost 100km away! Whenever I go visit family I don't even bother leaving space for toys in the suitcase as I know I won't be coming back with anything! Now if you like cheap knock-off toys from market stalls, then your spoilt for choice.

Same, to be honest. The only things I bought in Italy at retail were Generations Drift, Leader Movie Starscream, HFTD Seaspray and PCC Bombshock. All shops seem to have closed other than the Toys Center in that picture.

They had two of Jetfire on the shelf, would have probably caved and bought him, but I didn't fancy carrying him around at the show I was going. Could not believe the amount they had!

I ended up buying Blitzwing as I broke the one I bought last year foolishly trying to mod him. I asked if they had any Skids (Also to replace the one that I broke, this time not my fault) but they said it was just what was out (though the guy was surrounded by unopened boxes, some of them possibly had more transformers in but he most likely couldn't be bothered to look)

true what you say about the megazords.

Damn wish the 2 FP's near me stocked things that well. Sandstorm was my first ever G1 transformer, id kill to get my hands on another one

They had about 4 Nightbeat's, 3 Crosscut's, 1 Jhiaxus, and they had 2 Sandstorms but another guy stood next to me had 1 of them in his hand which I'm guessing he bought. Good Luck!

Update time. I've been in touch with the manager of the Cardiff store, they've had a delivery today and are expecting two tomorrow. He said they had Skydive and Fireflight. Assuming that all four deluxes are packaged together that must mean that they are on the pegs (didn't ask ) and the others have sold out, I think. He's put aside those two for me and will put aside the others if they come in (long story but suffice to say, a favour is the least they owed us ). So, I'll find out what's there Saturday morning when I go to pick stuff up. I'm telling you this because I don't believe for a second that this is the only Smyth's getting all these deliveries so, without wanting to give false hope, it may be worth staying in touch with your local store if you want CW for Christmas.
