Unless the admin folks wanted to keep them till 2015 and an error was made on the shipping notes in the computers saying put them out now, thus meaning every shop put them out at once.
Update time. I've been in touch with the manager of the Cardiff store, they've had a delivery today and are expecting two tomorrow. He said they had Skydive and Fireflight. Assuming that all four deluxes are packaged together that must mean that they are on the pegs (didn't ask) and the others have sold out, I think. He's put aside those two for me and will put aside the others if they come in (long story but suffice to say, a favour is the least they owed us
). So, I'll find out what's there Saturday morning when I go to pick stuff up. I'm telling you this because I don't believe for a second that this is the only Smyth's getting all these deliveries so, without wanting to give false hope, it may be worth staying in touch with your local store if you want CW for Christmas.
I've just got back from Smyths and they had all 4 deluxes in stock, I grabbed the three Aerialbots, but passed on Drag Strip.
I got the last Skydive and Fireflight so might be worth getting them to put Slingshot and Dragstrip aside for you as well.
Interestingly Silverbolt didn't ring up immediately, and the guy had to call his supervisor over. Got charged 22.99 so not sure if that's correct.
Also, random thing; there was an open notebook further down the aisle just lying on the shelf. I had a quick look at it and it had then names of all the deluxes plus the legends. I had a quick flick through and as far as I could tell it belonged to an employee. I took it as a positive sign that we're getting them!

I'm tempted by this, only because I don't have a Classics Optimus Prime mould, and I'm in desperate need of a Voyager sized Prime to sit on my CHUG shelf. Is the Evolution pack version worth it? I don't mind chrome, not die-hard crazy about it but it works at certain times (Henkei Rodimus, for example). Got to admit, I prefer the Henkei version, but I don't know if it's really worth spending a lot more money on. I mean, effectively you're getting this guy for a tenner, so that's a bargain, right? I have no interest in the other version of Prime whatsoever though, not my thing. I'm sure I'll find someone to take it off my hands.

Its not new, been around 6months or more I think. Not a bad price. I had one delivered a couple of days back. I was unsure about the different paint scheme but it looks good in person. Darker than the "normal" MP10 and the gold isn't as garish as you might think. Platimus Prime.

The antenna are rubberised which is fine but my ones wouldn't line up to the front of his head correctly which meant they were constantly swept back, as if he was a rabbit running really fast.
Easy fix though. I unscrewed his head, popped it off and pulled out the Ear piece, the paint on it had rubbed off slightly and the rubbed off paint had bunched up against the screw part meaning it would not pull all the way forward. I scraped off the paint (with scissors!!!) then checked it all worked before screwing it back on,. Took about 5 mins and has no detrimental affect on the figure. He now has upwards pointing ears rather than speed bunny.
I took pics if anyone else has this issue and needs help

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I actually prefer pimped out Platimus. I think the colours look amazing on him. The gold isn't at all gaudy because of the red being deeper. Just think he stands out more, in a good way. His trailer isn't as good though, the clear plastic looks a bit cheap, so I keep him in 'bot mode and the original MP-10 in alt mode with the cab.

Yeah, I picked this up for Classics Optimus Prime. I think it was a little more expensive at the time but, even then - given the price you'll pay for CHUG OP separately (and the TRU offer of a free Deluxe figure at the time) - it was still a right bargain!
I'll probably use the extra Evasion Prime for a custom one day?

Well, I picked up this pack today with some birthday money and I have to say I'm very happy with it. The Classics version is fantastic, I'm really happy to finally own this mould and he's sitting proudly on my CHUG shelf now.
As for the other one, I have to say it's quite a cool figure. I'm not a fan of the way the Michael Bay's Transformers look, the aesthetic just doesn't do it for me, nor did the films, but he is a cool looking guy. The colours are well distributed, with a nice mix of red, blue and silver/grey, and he really does look good in alt mode. I wasn't keen on the look of the Moveiverse Prime's alt mode, and this figures nod to the original flat fronted cab in vehicle mode looks great. Plus, it's got flames.

I prefer the version with the G1 colour scheme, for the sake of nostalgia more than anything. Need to get a faceplate for the head though, not a big fan of Opti-lips Prime.

The guy at the customer services kiosk says they have plenty in stock too which is cool. Especially when the missus says she will be going back on monday to get me the other 2 deluxes as she didnt have enough money on her at the time

Just been to Speke and they only have CW voyagers (1 silverbolt,3 op).
Manager says it's probably due to the size of the store.
Hopefully saves people a wasted journey.
Loads of RID stuff, but not my thing so didn't look too much.
