Unless the admin folks wanted to keep them till 2015 and an error was made on the shipping notes in the computers saying put them out now, thus meaning every shop put them out at once.
Update time. I've been in touch with the manager of the Cardiff store, they've had a delivery today and are expecting two tomorrow. He said they had Skydive and Fireflight. Assuming that all four deluxes are packaged together that must mean that they are on the pegs (didn't ask ) and the others have sold out, I think. He's put aside those two for me and will put aside the others if they come in (long story but suffice to say, a favour is the least they owed us ). So, I'll find out what's there Saturday morning when I go to pick stuff up. I'm telling you this because I don't believe for a second that this is the only Smyth's getting all these deliveries so, without wanting to give false hope, it may be worth staying in touch with your local store if you want CW for Christmas.

Its not new, been around 6months or more I think. Not a bad price. I had one delivered a couple of days back. I was unsure about the different paint scheme but it looks good in person. Darker than the "normal" MP10 and the gold isn't as garish as you might think. Platimus Prime.

I'm tempted by this, only because I don't have a Classics Optimus Prime mould, and I'm in desperate need of a Voyager sized Prime to sit on my CHUG shelf. Is the Evolution pack version worth it? I don't mind chrome, not die-hard crazy about it but it works at certain times (Henkei Rodimus, for example). Got to admit, I prefer the Henkei version, but I don't know if it's really worth spending a lot more money on. I mean, effectively you're getting this guy for a tenner, so that's a bargain, right? I have no interest in the other version of Prime whatsoever though, not my thing. I'm sure I'll find someone to take it off my hands.

Yeah, I picked this up for Classics Optimus Prime. I think it was a little more expensive at the time but, even then - given the price you'll pay for CHUG OP separately (and the TRU offer of a free Deluxe figure at the time) - it was still a right bargain!
I'll probably use the extra Evasion Prime for a custom one day?

As for the other one, I have to say it's quite a cool figure. I'm not a fan of the way the Michael Bay's Transformers look, the aesthetic just doesn't do it for me, nor did the films, but he is a cool looking guy. The colours are well distributed, with a nice mix of red, blue and silver/grey, and he really does look good in alt mode. I wasn't keen on the look of the Moveiverse Prime's alt mode, and this figures nod to the original flat fronted cab in vehicle mode looks great. Plus, it's got flames.
