Masterpiece Grimlock may have to be my backup as I've just endured another fruitless journey to smyths for combiner wars Silverbolt. The staff were very nice and apologetic but I'm still left feeling frustrated! Those TRU offers are tempting though...!

For anyone thinking about grimlock, let me just say from someone who got him on his first release you will not be even a slightly bit dissapointed with him, he truely is an awsome figure and at that price its almost theft!!!

Bumblebee was at my local Toys R Us today! Got some pictures of the car, very nice. It was there to sell trips around London in the car I believe. Also my Dad and I made an agreement that no matter what happened I would definitely be getting MP Grimlock; either as a Christmas present or I will buy it from him after. He likes to keep me in suspense :HEADHURTS:

You may also notice that after taking the first picture, me and my Mum started a crowd! :michaelbay:

Apart from the slightly lose hip joints my MP Grimlock's OK. I got him in November when he was reduced to £69.99 and I was very happy with my purchase then. At £35 it's a no-brainer!

Those CW figs are most likely to be around for a while. Not sure you can say the same about MP Grimlock, especially at that price.

I want to get the CW stuff to. However I think I will hold out to get a complete Superion. :-?

Holy carp, MP Grimlock for £35 is a steal! The sad thing is, I don't need him, but at that price I feel like I'd be missing out. I get paid early this month, just before Christmas. The bugger is that I need to save it because I'm going away to Lapland in Feb and we need to buy winter clothes. I was hoping anything left over would go on CW figures.

Talk about first world problems...

I've managed to get my Silverbolt, Smyths in Glasgow Fort and Falkirk both had stock of CW Prime and Silverbolt.

Sadly no sign of the deluxes yet, does anyone know which stores had some?

Wow! So it's been what, 2 months/10-odd pages since I last dropped by here, how's everyone holding up? Not quite sure why it's been so long actually, pin it down to laziness, schoolwork, or both :lol:

Might as well update in terms of what I've gotten since then: Generations Tracks and Scoop from MCM London, and Generations Skywarp, Centuritron, Tailgate, and Skrapnel from Kapow a bit back! Thoroughly pleased with all of them, actually.
Unfortunately on the Combiner Wars front, whilst it seems Smyths have actually opened up a store vaguely nearby at long last, it's one of those that looks to be horrendously awkward to get to without driving. Does anyone know if Smyths getting figures will mean they turn up at other regular retail stores? (assuming they're not literally Smyths exclusive) or are they one of those places that imports them to get around the exclusivity?

I done need Grimlock. But at £35 it seems ludicrous NOT to get one!

Typical, I paid £49 for Sunstorm last week. Expecting delivery today, along with Platimus Prime. Its annoying but I cant be bothered to return Sunstorm to save £10.

Can't remember the last time I just strolled into a shop and walked out with a Transformer, come to mention it i can't remember the last time I opened a Transformers on the same day as paying for it! Takes me back to the good old days of Classics hunting. Happy hunting Britformers!

I was very pleasently surprised to dee that there were plenty of Silverbolts up for grabs, I was expecting to see a wall of Primes and having to sift through them all to find the one solitary Silverbolt, as it happend there were about an equal number of each. I didnt see any deluxes on sale, they are part of the same wave are they not? Or are they coming out later?
