Yep it's official, Black Gaine rocks.

Since there has been a bit of talk about peoples looks and namebadges for AA next year here's a mugshot of my good self with a prototype badge that I knocked up earlier. The finished one will be a bit smaller, but I couldn't be bothered messing around with custom print sizes and just went with the smallest standard one. And yes, my ears really are that mismatched.

My jaw got broken about seven years ago and the NHS f***ed up putting it back together. As a result I tend to smirk more on the left than the right. Looks a lot worse without the facial hair though.

Yargh, I be dead chuffed, not only did I recieve two utterly different cds in the post ('Mellow Gold' by Beck and koRn's new album) I also recived a very fat envelope full of reprolabes for wstfs, now have stickers for every one I own (apart from the second Megatron I have). I also for a sheet of tiny tiny rubsigns for them to finish the job off (well it's only right!).

Glee.

I have hours of painstaking stickering ahead of me tommorrow!

Hey Darkageis, if you want the quote box thing to work the close box needs to read
rather than
, or you can just use the quote button on the top right corner of the original post. It's worth learning the php commands though for when you want to quote multiple posts at the same time or respond to parts of somebody's posts on a point by point basis.

My Haul:
Frenzy & Ravage (x2 so I can get a Rumble as well)
Blaster
Blitzwing
LOC Vector Prime
LOC Soundwave.

DIY tf kits that transform and look like the original toys? :-? If I had a credit card and the cash, I would be very tempted to get the Rumble/Ravage and the Blitzwing. And for that price, I could afford it now. If I had a credit card. Though the cassetets don't fit in Soundwave. Hmm, would have to think about that if I were, but Blitzwing would be a must to go with cl Astrotrain.

Ask and ye shall receive.

They tend to be pretty small. Bear in mind that back in the 80s the originals of these moulds were freebies with candy in Japan. For the citybots and the micro pieces they do make for good boosters to the WST line. Blitzwing is meant to be only a touch smaller than the original toy, so he might be a bit better match for the Classics but I haven't gotten one of those yet.

I just noticed earlier that while the alt mode photo on the instruction sheet for Tit Magnus is how the toy comes the illustrations of the transformation process all show the shoulders the modded way and the launchers right way up.

Me too. This first one's going to get the traditional Headmasters colour scheme, but if I can get hold of a second one I'll have a go at scratch building a new head and add Black Zarak to the roster as well.

edit - Here's a few more scale shots of some of the Kabaya KOs.

That's the Breastforce from Victory. The combined form goes by the name of Lio Kaiser.

Ahh, that Trypticon is cute. If the Blitzwing is roughly the same size as his original counterpart, would that make him smaller than the classic deluxes? Or were the G1 triplechangers larger than the deluxe cars (eg Jazz, Tracks, Prowl etc)?

The G1 triple changers would have been about the same size as the 84-85 Autobot cars making them a touch smaller than the deluxes of today. I believe Black Gaines listing for Blitzwing states that he is almost the same size as the original, so he'd probably look like a modern basic in comparison to the Classics deluxes. There was a KO 2 pack of Broadside and Blitzwing in Overcharge/Diaclone colours doing the rounds not too long ago that might be a better option for a full sized Blitzwing, not too sure what the quality was like on those though.

I must be confusing the sizes. I thought (G2 but still the same mold) Jazz was alot smaller than the deluxe classics. Still, if I got this Blitzwing, it sounds like he would fit in nicely with the 1:72 scale model military jets I have. Or if he is a bit smaller than the deluxe, he could go in front of them with no problem.

Which figure from recent years would be classed as a basic? Just so I know as I really have no idea the size of classes, just the names of the characters.

Damn, I'm starting to wish I could get one now.

Energon basics = Omnicons, Terrorcons, gestalt limbs.

Cybertron basics = Shortround, Armorhide, Brushguard.

I've had another look at the listing for the Kabaya Blitzwing and he's probably somewhere between basic and deluxe. I'm pretty sure that he won't actually be quite as big as any of the Classics deluxes in any case.

Nice one on the sig Frimal, garrr.

ARR! Stop yer showing off with yer Botcon Thrust ye Knave! :P

Now, I be 17 years of age currently.

Found a basic assortment of Movie deluxe figures at Tesco Home in Telford.

Thought about buying Jazz or Barricade, or indeed Brawl; but remembered I am saving up to buy a new Alternator still. Same goes for the tf comic :(

I'll buy that Wednesday when I get a new distortion pedal.

hehehe Breastforce. I laugh every time I hear that. Much funnier that 6" or 3" Tits. :P

And tf DIY kits rock!
I've always thought they should release tfs as DIY kits. Adds to the fun!
