Anyway, He's a nifty little figure, and pleased with him overall, but I can't help feeling he's a little lackluster. I'm sure I'll find him better when I do the mods. Though I have trouble clipping his lower legs together and his arms don't fit into the knee holes in the top of them when he transforms. The lift up chest is a nice touch, though there should have been a mini matrix in there, even if it was just painted in.

BINGO BANGO!

That's exactly how i felt/feel about Magnus. My uter amazment at managing to make a (very) posable transformer out of G1 Magnus was totally over shaddowed by my realisation that they could have done SO much better with it.

As for Botcon, wouldnt the easiest thing to do (for us to recognise eachother) would be to print out our avvies and put em on a badge, perhaps with our usernames underneath.

And holy crappie-oly, I didnt occour to me until someone else said it, but I'm gonna start learnign to drive soon. **** Im gonna have cut donw on the tfs. And there are some expensive ones I want too, MP3 Soundblaster to compliment Soundwave, Encore Ratchet and Ironhide, MP Skywarp, US MP SS... ****.

Something's gonna have to give.

That's a song isn't it?

Anyway, that's completely irrelevant.

Aye it would!

British Shield badges with a lil avatar in the middle would indeed be rather cool. :-?

And that's pretty much how I felt about UM. I thought they shoulda used ratcheting joints for the arms, and have those ratcheting joints on a slide mechanism, so that his arms could be slid forwards along to the torso to be more in line with the head and the rest of his body.

Then I think, maybe they'll make an upscaled version of this figure for classics, and then they could do these things?

I doubt it though.

Hey you guys, can anyone join this disgruntled crew? Is there a test? I'm a brit, and I'm most definatly not gruntled; I cannot find anything that isnt another movie fast-action battler, anywhere. Also, what is this Botcon/AA thing I read so much about? Looks fun!

Welcome aboard the Good Ship ODB! (Yargh!)

Botcon is an American Convention that has particularly pissed us off this year cuase they had some exclusives that we all REALLY wanted (that are now as a result very fecking expensive).

AA is a british convention that sadly didnt happen this year (it would wouldnt it, the first year I concider going it dosnt happen).

Have you tired your local Toys R Us? They are by far the best for tfs, and Argos isnt too bad, so long as you dont mind putting up with lieing catologues, retarded staff, and constant viewings to check they actully have something you want....

Yeah, I wanted them to the tune of around £550 overall.

As far as Auto Assembly goes, the last couple of years I've just headed down for the day but next year (hopefully) I want to grab a hotel room and do the night out in Brum thing as well. Hell, even Simon Furman's been known to come out for a Chinese and beers after the con.

Oh and welcome aboard Tangent, but beware: HERE BE PIRATES.

We all make mistakes laddy.

Begods Frimal! Ye be the youngest here!
I am older than someone! Huzzah! :P

Ye need to host it on a website like photobucket.com .

Then, you need to take one of the links ( I think it's the html tag, but don't quote me on that), and put it in the 'signature' box on your profile page.

I'm feeling good today. Managed to pick up Cybertron Nemesis Breaker, Cybertron Wing Saber and Commemorative Soundwave in TRU buy 2 get 1 free deal. So a little under 50 quid for all three!

Really glad i managed to find Nemesis Breaker. I know it's far from a great figure but i never managed to find either him or Leobreaker last year.
Now i can finally beef up Megatron!

I must have been on form out on the sauce last night. Two seventeen year old girls throwing themselves at me in different pubs. It really is a shame that I've got morals isn't it?

Fer missleading people, ye need te have yer lookout man flogged, and ye need to have yer Chiblicron nibble a finger of yer choice.

I've done the Magnus mods, and though he is better and is in a decent pose on his stand, he could have been better. Even if it was just those sliding shoulders someone mentioned. His feet fit together much better now when transformed, but his arms still have trouble connecting to his knees.

I have also noticed my Ramjet seems to be a slight off white, a slight cream tint to it. It isn't bone white like Magnus and Astrotrain are. Is everyone's like this, or do I have an artistic bugger trying to stand out?

Arr, if ye have morals, waaaaghlord (I never know how many 'a' to put in your name :P) ye can pass yer form to me. I never seem to be on form unless I'm too plastered and end up dancing like a loon.

Neatly trimmed beard and nice shiny bald head seem to be doing the trick for me at the moment. Not sure if that'll work for everyone though...

You got the right number of a's on this attempt by the way 8)

Copy & Paste are you friends
Yeah, since the missus got pregnant I've noticed that I seem to end nights out dancing with some very pretty girls without ever having to say or do anything, always good for the ego. Bald head and beard as well waaaaghlord!

My mate reckons they target me because my wedding rings obvious and they know they can dance with me in relative safety in that I'm not likely to try it on with them.
