So I was digging through a store that sometimes, somehow manages to get TFs for cheap from several waves ago, and there were pegs of Legends, among which I foud about six Rodimus..es... (Rodimii?) Anyway... I noted one that had distinctly darker eyes than the rest of them... like his eyes were almost the same colour as his vehicle mode windows. While I highly doubt this is a rare find, and I know it wouldn't be worth anything more or less to collectors... boredom mixed with sleep deprivation compels me to ask, is this a relatively common occurrence? Has anyone else come across this?

I dunno about the eyes bit, but SIX LEGENDS RODIMUS IN ONE STORE!?!? Where the hell are you? I saw one going between 2 TRU, 3 K-Mart, 4 Targets, 3 Wal-Marts and a bunch of other random stores for months on end.

And I live in a moderately large metro area (1.6 mil metro, 600k city), and I NEVER saw a Rodimus... I had to get Mkall to buy a pair of 'em for me just to HAVE the mold!

I live in a place so far from civilization that it's a wonder anything ever gets here. The odd thing is nothing new ever comes in, it's all from various older waves. Once in about 2004 or 5... around christmas time, one store brought out a shelf full of RiD figures. Blew my mind. Lately they've been pulling in things that are closer to current, but from several waves ago. One store just got in some GI Joes from a year or two back, another got all those legends (Cosmos, Warpath, Wheelie and Rodimus) for 3 bucks apiece, along with a modest supply of Animated figures (Swoop, Sentinel, Slag/Snarl, Soundwave) Earlier it had some wave 1 Universe stuff so I finally managed to get Octane (I refuse to call him "Tankor"), and picked up a second Sunstreaker for a Punch/Counterpunch custom.

So it's been determined that Port Hardy, here, is a place where time seemingly has no meaning whatsoever.

So you get stuff in, just a year later than everywhere else. That's gotta drive a TF hunter crazy!!

I saw Cosmos twice, Rodimus once, Wheelie twice and Warpath three times, each of those being 1 on the shelf/hook. I'd be inclined to buy and re-sell those legends myself, it would pay for a lot of other TF's.

What store was it? A close-out kind of store or a regular big box (Wal-K-Tar-TRU) that just has terrible distribution?

Life as a TF fan in Canada must be infuriating at times.

True Value Hardware, and FIELDS, two stores that I've never seen anywhere outside of Port Hardy, but apparently are still chains somewhere as they do get flyers shipped in for promotional sales and whatnot. Real small time looking places, though. None of the big names up here. We're talking the nearest Walmart's somewhere in the vicinity of a three hour drive away (Courtenay), and it's a good six or more hours before you ever see a TRU (Nanaimo) It's not so much that collecting in Canada is infuriating, I'd imagine in a major population center people don't have this problem... but being on the northern tip of Vancouver Island is sure a pain in the ass.

I never saw Wheelie or Cosmos at all. And I was travelling between NZ, the UK and the US. :-(

I hope they put that wave of legends out again after the movie, cos I refuse to pay 20 bucks for a legends figure off of eBay.

i was choosing between two tfu legends hot shots at the pegs and noticed one had a lighter colored face.

i have two takara ez/legends hyperhobby exclusive bbs (clear version), one has an autobot logo on the chest the other doesn't, i also noticed that one has a more opaque head and body than the other.

tfu legends are now being sold at 50% off at the major toy stores (tru, toy kingdom) in our country (the philippines). the hardest to find are g1 bb and beachcomber. peg warmers are leo prime, g2 megatron tank, hound.
