For starters, you're not a Mod or Admin so any info you or I or any other normal member has is just a wild guess or misinterpretation from some passing post.
Secondly, this is what we have that V2 FAQ at the top for.
Thirdly, the new forums aren't complete anyway, the REAL new forums are still waiting for Ryan to implement the spiffy new version of phpBB!(That's a known fact)
Fourthly, i'm sure the weapons and tactics are, or at the very least, near complete, though I don't think OS is going to implement them into this version. (From a passing comment or two)
Fifthly, this crappy cold is moving into my chest and i'm going to be coughing all f-ing night I know it. Oh well .... i'll just stay up downloading BSG:Razor
Sixthly (or sickly in my case), kick Mkall in the head (or other body part of your choosing, he's Canadian, he won't complain too much) and make him put something like this into the FAQ anyway. It'll give him something to do instead of sitting around wondering why his bots perform so badly when in missions with mine.

And why should not being an Admin or Mod restrict me fro making this thread anyway?

Because you don't know what's going on. Such things should always come from an official source to prevent confusion. And look! You've confused steve to the point he's used two full sentences! Now we'll never shut him up.
You're not a Mod.
You're not a Admin.
You're not a member of the Support Staff (is anyone these days?)
Those are the people who are likely to know first from OS, and sometimes he even swears them to secrecy as he likes for things to sometimes be a suprise!

Yeah but the way I see it, if multiple threads pop up asking the same thing annoys you, just get over it.
If the Mods are swamped and can't keep up, then they're smart enough to know they'll need help and will appoint others.
And really, at the end of the day you could create as many "help" threads as you like, but people are not going to read them. That is the nature of humans on forums.
