Hmmm, I vaguely remember a toy line based on tiny soldiers that came with different bases, ships and jets which 'transformed' into nearly real size military gadgets and weapons (like a pistol, a hand granade and such ... even a drinking canteen that turned into a aircraft carrier!). Anyone remember this? - I think we're talking late 80's.

I do remember that, they where like Mighty Max playsets right.

I had a hand me down hand granade and canteen.

It was Army G.E.A.R. if I remember correct.

Yes! Exactly! Army G.E.A.R, thats it. Man, that was cool ... If I'm not mistaken I still have some in stasis lock at my fathers house. Gotta find them soon.

Will do. I've been meaning to go through my old stuff for years now. Mainly because I know that Quake is still in there as well as Greasepit, Hi-Q and (if I remember correctly) two or three pretenders. I really feel bad leaving them behind :sad:

I just won 2 more Wheeled Warriors.

I think, I'm 2 bases, 1 walker, and 1 vehichile away from having a complete set.

That is unless I want to count the Zoggies who only had one casting which goes for $7000.

Anyhow, I was looking at the car bodies, and was thinking how cool would it be if this line, with the interchangable gimmick was paired with Transformers.

That would be cool!!!
