Unless, he has jet boosters/propellers in Robot mode, so that when he transforms in the water, he can sort of fly up.Auto Bot wrote:Ironhider wrote:Tidalwave should be in the movie and if he is he should

If he transforms near the shore, he won't sink. He'll be much taller than to be able to sink.

It's a straight-edged device, used for measuring small objects, and used for drawing straight lines. Usually made of transparent plastics, 1 foot long, 1 inch wide, a couple of millimeters thick. With gradations etched or printed on the edge.

Magnanimous wrote:I think the fundamental flaw with the aircraft carrier TF is it's sheer size. Tidalwave's protoform would be pretty damned big. Hard for someone to miss something 1000' long and has the displacement of 100 000 tones, falling from the sky at 600 mph (or whatever) and yet remain in "disguise".
AND carriers travel in battle groups so I think someone would notice if one goes missing and suddenly re-appears with all it's crew and various aircraft missing.
I know how most people here hate plot holes...an aircraft carrier would leave a pretty big one.
Fisherman #1: "He look guys! free Nimitz class aircraft carrier!"
Fisherman #2 and #3: "Sweeeeet."

His entry into our atmosphere alone, plus the impact of landing, would have wiped out several cities. If he landed in Hawaii, the whole island chain will be completely destroyed.
I think Bay is insane to want to call in an aircraft carrier for the sequel.

Unless Tidal Wave arrives in the form of several, smaller protoforms.
Or he just doesn't have to "crash" on Earth, he could have a jet alt mode like Megatron and make a much more discreet and safe landing before assuming the carrier mode for disguise purposes.

so Motormaster is basically a Decepticon clone of Optimus?
