A stealth bomber is gigantic. His robot mode will be much larger than Prime. Probably closing in to the size of Devastator.

It's a straight-edged device, used for measuring small objects, and used for drawing straight lines. Usually made of transparent plastics, 1 foot long, 1 inch wide, a couple of millimeters thick. With gradations etched or printed on the edge.

Tidalwave should be in the movie and if he is he should
be a B2 instead of an aircraft carrier. Can you picture him transforming in the middle of the ocean than sinking. WTF!

If he transforms near the shore, he won't sink. He'll be much taller than to be able to sink.

Unless, he has jet boosters/propellers in Robot mode, so that when he transforms in the water, he can sort of fly up.

I think the fundamental flaw with the aircraft carrier TF is it's sheer size. Tidalwave's protoform would be pretty damned big. Hard for someone to miss something 1000' long and has the displacement of 100 000 tones, falling from the sky at 600 mph (or whatever) and yet remain in "disguise".

AND carriers travel in battle groups so I think someone would notice if one goes missing and suddenly re-appears with all it's crew and various aircraft missing.

I know how most people here hate plot holes...an aircraft carrier would leave a pretty big one.

That will be inconsistent with his alt mode.

His entry into our atmosphere alone, plus the impact of landing, would have wiped out several cities. If he landed in Hawaii, the whole island chain will be completely destroyed.

I think Bay is insane to want to call in an aircraft carrier for the sequel.

Unless Tidal Wave arrives in the form of several, smaller protoforms.

Or he just doesn't have to "crash" on Earth, he could have a jet alt mode like Megatron and make a much more discreet and safe landing before assuming the carrier mode for disguise purposes.

How about a reverse idea of the usual combiner. Several protoforms reformatted into several robots. Then all these robots combine to form one giant alt mode, an aircraft carrier.

I wont pretend to know how many satelites we have rotating this planet but i can see my house on google maps...

I'ld still would like to see a carrier, if Bay is still only considering it, but there will be a good number of fans hating it regardless if he does it or not at this point.

As Tidalwave or Shockfleet, I could see the Reflector type of transformation utilized. Shockwave could fittingly be the carriers main gun, and it could be made from a number of TFs (3-8). A squad or two of flight capable warriors would be his to command.

This of course would limit the individual screne time of the seekers short of Starscream.

I, for one, do not hate Tidalwave, or the concept of an aircraft carrier.

But he's just too dam big to come out at this time. His presence in TF2 will render crowd favorites Devastator, and Dinobots, insignificant.

It's not a big problem to bring him into a cartoon series. As cartoons don't follow correct scales anyway.

Maybe he ought to be introduce in TF3 or TF4.

Here's the list of TFs I would like to see:
(sorry, no pics at the moment)

Autobots
Sideswipe- 2006 Dodge Viper SRT 10 (based off of his new toy)
Hotshot- Porsche 997 Turbo (He's a Porsche dangit!)
Prowl- Dodge Charger SRT8 (In police markings of course)
Airraid- F35 Lightning II (to modernize him)
Inferno- Fire Engine (I always liked him)

Decepticons
Thundercracker- F22 Raptor (Like his counterpart)
Skywarp- SU-47 (BADASS!)
Wildrider- Ferrari F430
Dreadwing- MIG 29 Fulcrum (Like his new toy)

Also, hoping against hope, I like to see a Pontiac Firebird or a Nissan Titan too
