Wheeljack needs to be some crazy european concept car. Someone posted a pic of one a while back that was perfect(same deco and all).
I wouldn't mind Soundwave being like Animated Soundwave, the band van with transforming sound equipment(in his case a guitar, probably an amp that becomes Rumble too). Either that, or have him as a CD Player or Tapedeck stranded in the 80s. Mass shifting is fine as the allspark did it, and countless other movies where stupidly mundane fanboys didn't complain about it.
I'd like to see Prime be one of those **** off huge Kenworths with a Sleepercab, the flatnose ones from the 80s/90s. They look awesome and would make for a more complex transformation than G1 while still being a nice homage. Staying the same vehicle is fine, as long as they trade the flames for colour fades or geometric patterns(a LOT of trucks over here have this - no flames).
Sideswipe and Sunstreaker need to be Lambos if they're in it, or a similiar enough Nissan vehicle. They can be in Classics, so...
I'd like to see Bumblebee reformatted into a Renault Migaine(his Animated vehicle). The explanation given to the disgruntled Sam is that he needs to be a smaller vehicle for his spy role. The car would have the two stripes instead of one though, and have a more complicated bot mode than the animated version.
I'd like to see Bludgeon as some complicated military vehicle we haven't seen before, like Bonecrusher was in this one(one of my favourite alt modes, shame about the bot, eeee he really needed to be a voyager at least, the design still isn't great though). I would have him retain the supercomplicated transformations of the original so he can achieve a Samurai-armour looking bot mode. The toy would be awkward, but he'd be a voyager at least anyway. Maybe some new kind of tank. If there's any vehicle that looks like Cybertron Unicron(bludgeon Homage anyway), that'd be awesome. I had an idea for him as a "Pretender", turning into a human. There'd be a mad Slitheen-like scene as he expands out of the human body. That could be visually quite cool. Obviously it'd be quite a large(7 foot maybe) human and Bludgeon wouldn't be much bigger than Bumblebee(about 20 feet would do).
Shockwave is the awkward one. Futuristic tank seems to be a top choice. Not sure about having another Cybertron mode, but Shockwave did never take an earth mode. I guess if Megs is reformatted, it'd be fine.
Megs I'd like to see as a tank, but a totally different type of tank(if not, Bludgeon can be a weird tank). People say "Why would megs be a tank when Screamer is a jet", because jets are necessarily better than tanks. Tanks can shoot planes down more accurately, a lot of the time, then a plane can shoot down a tank. If you're dealing with supertech and auto lock on, anyway, a tank nearly seems better, less fuel consumptions for a start. Don't really want Megs to be a jet. It takes too much away from the flying chars that already exist.
Alternatively; an enormous Flak Cannon, like that custom. That would rock hard on several levels. Something nazi-ish anyway.
One thing that annoys me is when people try to "bastardise"(I know the "haters" use this a lot, but that's because it's true) Transformers. The first movie was full of it, now making Soundwave's team things unrelated to him is just sad. I really feel that a lot of people are missing out on what made Transformers cool to begin with and could still be cool in a fashion even if it's in an oldschool way in some ways(oldschool never goes out of style, literally). If anyone starts finding "better" alts for the DINObots, I'm gonna scream. And PLEASE no "Wouldn't it be awesome if Devastator was just a big robot?"
Though that red Chevvy is perfect for Cliffjumper, much cooler than his original car too. Well done.
