Don't forget, the Japanese actually don't have the ability to make the "Cy" syllable. Hence the necessity for "Sei".

Our "Cy" is spelled, in Romaji, Sai.

What we don't have are the characters to create "ber" or "tron." The closest phonetic spelling is "say-ba-toh-roh-n"

However, Seibertron is the accepted romanization of the word, thanks to Prime Saber and Ryan himself.
