When I ordered mine back in June, the confirmation email I got said it would ship August 31 but haven't heard anything since. Same thing happened with the last Devy set and I got it just right after his cdmw-08 review so I expect it any day now.

LOST Cybertronian wrote:I was dismayed myself about the gaping hole in his waist myself. I can see why they photographed Devastator from the angle they did. It didn't show the hole. The next set will probably come with the other shoulder bracket along (hopefully) with new chest and hip armor and maybe that will cover the waist hole. I am not entirely sure I like that shoulder bracket either.
El Duque wrote:Definitely the weakest offering yet. That shoulder piece seems totally pointless and puts Scavenger at an awkward angle, doubt I even take that out of the package. I'll echo everyone else and say I'm not cool with that gaping hole in his torso. I actually like the purple cement mixer best out of the set. I'm betting they release a couple of more sets for Devy. I'm sure they are going to do new versions of the chest wing and the waist piece, hopefully they will address the hole with those. If they want to make something that 's truly useful, make some sort of foot plate for Scrapper. My G1 Scrapper is kind of floppy in the shovel and arms making it hard to pull of the leg mode. Maybe a clear plastic "foot" plate to solidify him.

I gotta agree with all of this. New chest and waist armor, after everything else they've done, is almost inevitable.
And I think almost everyone's Scrapper is loose. I'd go for a clear or even green-colored plate for his foot.

For that matter go ahead and make a foot plate for Mixmaster to, that would add an elongated heel. Foot plates would greatly enhance his stability. Especially one to solidify Scrapper. I'm not talking about anything like what Fansproject did for Superion or Bruticus adding the big chunky feet. Just some flat clear or green plates that wouldn't change the overall look of Devy's feet.

I still don't see the big deal.
Syndrome wrote:The hole was always there, the only reason why you can see it now is cause the plate makes the upper torso higher revealing the hole.

I think you explained my issue with the situation quite well.
Syndrome wrote:Counterpunch wrote:But now you see the big hole...
lol That was actually pretty funny
My point was that while it is a lot more obvious now, it's not like it wasn't always there. They'll probably release something else later on to cover it.I think you explained my issue with the situation quite well.
Yea that's fair. Honestly though, I'd rather deal with the hole and have the Articulation.

The forearms and hands? Okay.
The hips? Pretty neat, actually.
The waist? Terrible. That giant gap is just ridiculous.
The right arm piece? Absolutely pointless. What good is a stationary piece in a set that's supposed to make him more posable?
They need to update the wing, or make an attachment that allows it to sit lower to help cover the gap, and they need to make the right arm a swivel point.
Their sets get more worthless with each new idea.
Counterpunch wrote:OK, so I have to admit to something...
Upon further review, this set sucks. It sucks hard.
That arm piece does not allow for 45 degree movement, it FIXES the arm at 45 degrees. I didn't realize that. Forget this crap.
