Alt Ravage - Kibble Remedy?

Hey guys, I just got Alt Ravage... he's not bad, but a little kibbly. The instructions don't seem to be right to me... This is what I got after also clipping down his tail in the rear:

Is there anything else I can do to minimize kibble, and is there any way at all to secure his 'stomach' area? I hate how it just sort of swivels around loosely...
