He's a voyager,his 4 fingers are molded together but are seprate from thumb so still poseable,easy to transform(I just read all this stuff off the boards )

Wow, I had no idea he was voyager class. Nice comparison pics, he dwarfs Classics Screamer. I am 99.9999999% sure I will be picking him up. I don't completely dig the extra long face but I do think it suits Starscream okay.

I think it's a very cool looking toy, but after watching the show again, the toy reminds me alot more of Thundercracker then Starscream.











To my eyes on the show he appears to be Grey/Black/Red, but the toy looks Blue/Black/Red.

Then again it's a prototype/colors change/maybe it's T.Cracker/etc, etc, etc,.....

As I already have a replacement head lined up and waiting, I can't wait to get this figure.

I can only say I wish I felt the same way about the rest of this line.

Screamer has put some serious time in the Cybertron gyms to get those arms looking like that!

Out of all the Animated figures we've seen extensive photos of so far(and I'm counting BB, Prime, Prowl, Lockdown, and Bulkhead), I think SS is really the coolest looking. I think what I like the most about these figures so far is they have far more *character* than recent lines; perhaps there is less robot and more human qualities, but I think it's a refreshing angle to play. I would like to see a little more focus on individual characters rather than just the inevitable deluge of new characters that eventually overwhelms every line, and I think the Animated aesthetic blends itself well to each character being unique not only in looks but in personality.

I could see some figures from this line being really, really great while others are just very blah(I'm thinking BB and deluxe Prime so far for the latter) since I think these type designs can be really hit or miss.

Alright, when I'm beat, I'm beat. I must concede, he looks fantastic as an action figure. Until I saw these detailed shots, I thought he looked stupid. I was incorrect.

I love the pics of Animated SS trouncing his movie counterpart. The movie toys managed to look much fiercer than the Alternators; you knew the movie 'bots would win in a fight, even if you didn't like the faces. This time, maybe because of the faces that many fans don't like, the Animated line looks like they'd beat any other, because they, unlike any other line, are alive and have lives of their own. They look so, well... animate! It took me a while to warm up to Bulkhead and Lugnut, but I've started liking pretty much the entire line, with SS and BB leading the pack.

Anyway, i hate the fact that their mouths are molded in the heads, not painted on 'em. BB and SS would look way better with their smiles just painted on their faces.

Still don't like the head. He Still looks Like Thundercracker. I suppose Hasbro will do the inevitable repaint into G1 colors further down the line. Just to milk the collectors for more money, like they did with movie Starscream.

I might pick him up, but I'll have to see him in person first, but if I do, he'll be Thundercracker not SS.

All I ever hear about this line is that they’re articulated and not gimmicky but the thing is, they don’t look any more articulated than any other TF we’ve gotten in the last two years, as for gimmicks, its sad they’re getting rid of them, it made the figures feel related in some since.

I really cant stand the thought of calling this thing Starscream, its not in his original colors, the face and chin makes me want to vomit, its horrible.

The only thing I dont like about this figure is the way the missiles stick out so far from his arms. Buts thats pretty minor as I usually leave the missles out of my figures anyway.
