During their panel at this year's SDCC IDW revealed that after the Chaos storyline concludes two new ongoing series will emerge: Transformers: Robots in Disguise by John Barber and Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye by James Roberts.

Now artist Andrew Griffith has given us a little more information regarding the creative teams via his blog. Josh Perez will be handling colorist duties on his upcoming post Chaos series Robots in Disguise, and Josh Burcham will be coloring the other post Chaos ongoing series More Than Meets the Eye.

Though you might want to know that Josh Perez will be coloring my upcoming comic Transformers ongoing comic, Robots in Disguise.

And for those of you who don't know, Josh Burcham will be coloring the other ongoing, More than Meets the Eye!

I wouldn't count on it having any connection to the RiD TV series. They stated both new series will be continuing the currently established IDW storyline. I think they just picked two nostalgic TF phrases for the titles.

Man I was really getting excited when I saw RiD on the front page. Then got sad when I saw it would just be part of IDW's G1 Continuity. :sad:

Oh well. Can't have everything go your way right?

But hopefully they should be good. I'll just need to pick up all the comics that I have missed lately to get caught up. Or just read a bunch of summary's.
