i knwo it seems like a dumb question to ask but does anyone think that the arm cannon will appear in the movie version of megatron?

i would like to see haed differnt colors did close up on his face couldnt really make anything out except for the black and blue no vehical mode kinda dissapointing to see it not posted with the robot mode version

It won't. His design is final and most of the FABs have gimmicks that won't be in the movie.

For the last time, I am not a geewunner. That thing doesn't resemble any Megatron in any way. I like most of the Transformers series. G1, G2, Unicron trilogy, RID, most of Beast Wars and a little of Beast Machines. And FYI this movie was and is said to be based off of G1 by the writers and producers. So far nothing even resembles the Transformers, let alone G1, so get off your "It's not G1" horse and shoot it dead.

On topic: Does anyone know if he'll have wings in the movie? So far none of the leaked images show the wings.

I thought I read somewhere that his arms form into a cannon or something. Also in your post bluebullet none of the series you listed even resemble megatron either in my opinion.

That actually is not a bad figure at all. I actually like the contrast of the black face against the lighter colored battle helmet. Very nice...

I thought it was very similar to the pre-movie protoform Starscream and Prime we have seen, although this one covered in ice, instead of having a blasting comet tail/cannon.

Still I think it looks interesting.

I have to agree about the character designs. I read the preview comic, and honestly did not enjoy it as a TF comic because the robot modes/heads were unrecognizable as any characters that have come previously. I know it is a new direction, the ultimate TF universe so to speak, but at least in the comics format it did not work well for me... NO disrespect meant, I'll still be there buying them from stores like all the rest, I have just jumped off the fence as far as the designs go...

I don't think people are complaining so much as that ALL the movie designs are bad, I think it's more that everything about the movie is alienating the Transformer fans. It's like they're trying to make it appeal to the widest possible audience, and in doing so they're destroying a bit of what the Transformers always were. I don't mind some of the designs and they have started to grow on me some, but it doesn't feel like Transformers, more like a generic action movie with robots that happen to transform.

After all is said and done, I think that the Megatron design is especially poor, especially in that toy form.

Yes, it's a dead ringer for Cryotek. Even the face that you zoomed in on looks like TM2 Megs' head but blue (Cryotek). Don't get me wrong, I really don't like the TM2 Megs mould, I think it's an awful design.
