A relatively minor thing all things considered, but I guess someone missed the memo that Camians don't like to use guns.
Oh well, I'm sure we can count on Dr. Wu or Shapeways for a 3rd party halberd.

The gun is actually Arcee's gun from the G1 movie:Shuttershock wrote:Pretty good for a heavy retool.

Or at least loosely inspired by it.

Good spot. Wonder why the Generations Arcee isn't using it?
Still, the point remains that Chromia has been shown most prominently as a melee combatant.

It might not have been doable on any of Arcee's plastic sprues. So they probably figured people would be getting both anyway, and so found a way to still give us the gun, even if it comes with someone else.Shuttershock wrote:Good spot. Wonder why the Generations Arcee isn't using it?
After all, DOTM Megatron's shotgun came with AOE Evasion Mode Optimus.

Yeah, I'm sure that was deliberate when they made DOTM Megs.
I just find it funny that they gave her a gun and not a halberd, especially since Generations has been pretty good about giving the right weapons to the right people.
For Spark's sake, Skids comes with a Nudge Gun!

As for her having a gun, didn't she have one in the G1 cartoon? Because I seem to remember her having one there.

Video Review - Transformers Generations Legends Gears with Eclipse
Posted by Va'al Wed Sep 10, 2014 2:37 pm
One of the fun things with the Generation line is seeing how repaints/remolds can get turned around. Case it point, way back when Gears was the original figure while Swerve was the remold. 30 years later with Swerve being a more popular character we see Gears as a repaint of that Legends figure. Surprisingly the joints are a little bit tighter so take care moving them around, other than that this is a fine figure worthy of your collection.

Any time
Swerve and Gears are required purchases for me. I just hope I can find the latter when moving.

He's not part of the "list of 30 randomly picked exclusives and special releases". "Thrilling 30" refers to the line of the year as a whole.

If those were applied and the area surrounding the head were simply blue, I think it would resemble the original character a lot more.
Saying this for customizers out there... and because I plan to paint mine this way.

I don't "think" Gears is identifying himself as female in the comics... unless there's something I've missed recently (???).
