I have seen this debate on many other sites and i want to know what people on this forum think about the two games. I ctually own both games on the Three sixty so i can make an honest asumption. I know that these are two diferent games but i don't care to be honest.
I find both games very exciting. Gears of War 2 had a great story and made me emotional at some piont and also had great graphics. The cover system is great.
Re5 is also a great game. The action is fast paced, very tense and also fun. The story is good, but predictable if you are a long time fan. The game could be way better through. Just like With Resident Evil 4, I like the idead of standing still in this type of game. When you have slow enimies as such, it makes it more chalanging since you are not able to just weave around them. It also forces you to think about when to shoot or when to evade.

Something i did notice about both games is the weapon system. Gow2 did not allow you to upgrade weapons, which then would require more skills. RE5 did allow you to upgrade weapons. With a fully upgraded shotgun you can one hit kill normal enimeies.
