Plaything and I have been considering writing up another war thread like when Kaon attacked Altigon. Nothing more than an over sized bragging thread, but it consisted of story that went a long with the missions. Not a tournament nor any other thing, just some fun.

Speaking of RPG style interacting, is my mind playing tricks on me or did there use to be a thread where players introduced themselves and RP'd their characters in a "pub" thread?
(It could be my mind... it does start to go as you get older from what I hear...)

There might have been on, or maybe that was a faction thread not a GD, I don't remember.

It was more like an orchestration of the battle they had fought.As you had to supply the link to the Mission as well.

There was a thread way way way back where people acted out their characters, it was general anarchy.

It was shut down because it was considered spam.

It's a nice idea, but I cant see it rescuing these forums...Only thing that will do that is certain site owners pulling their fingers out and (once they have done that), having a realistic expectation of the work rate and spare time allowances of anybody who can actually do what he needs.

But that's not gonna happen.

Ahh well, I suppose he should be happy, it killed the AWC, the PAC and MDF were already dead, and RDD is on it's last legs (although I am working on a way to arrest that decline), all he had to do to finally kill the subfactions was to kill the game...[/rant]

Glad to see some other people remember it. The reason I brought it up was because of the fun aspect and to see if people would participate. Honestly I don't remember what happened with the old thread so I don't know if it was a bad thing in the end or not.
