Im considering joining the maximals but other than the obvious what kind of alts do they have. I find the autobots are lacking in quality alts.

To add to what Tammuz said, while there has been talk of giving the beast factions their own alt lists, it is unknown when that will happen. For now, Maximals use the Autobot one and Predacons use the Decepticon one.
