I started watching the transformers first ever series.

And it is good and everything.
But one thing i noticed is its harsher than the later series.

In the first episode Rumble attacks someone and Ravage the panther is evil.He goes and kidnapps Chip In one episode.

and when they threaten people they genuinely look like theyll do it.Starscream actually looked like he would kill Spike and his father in the episode where they find Skyfire.

The most evil characters are Ravage and Rumble.they are seriously horrid.
i suppose cartoons changed after the eighties.

What i mean is the threat level is higher than other series.Not the technological threat or the bigger threats i mean the agression.

i dont like how Megatron turns into a gun. I always thought he looked like a villain from the movies with shades on.the design looks a little like a golem.The Ancient gear golem in YuGiOhGX that Crowler has.

Starscream is very ambitious but a little overeager.
I was surprised he wa a scientist before the war with the Autobots.And he was friends with Skyfire.I half expected him to have put Skyfire in the ice in the first place.

When it was first on i always liked Sunstreaker cos he was a awesome sports car and hes cool.the sports cars are the best.
I still like Sunstreaker.
but i dont get the reverance for the old voice actors.Scatman Crothers may be a good actor but i dont think hes right for Jazz.Sounds too old.Cool guy though.
Sure they are good but the new ones like the man who voices Megatron in Cybertron are better.David kay who does Optimus Prime in Animated.
Peter Cullen sounds like he swallowed something big and crunchy.And it stuck.
I think the voices now are better.
The man who does Starscream in Cybertron is good.Mark Atkinson.
Not that it matters who voices who so long as they are good.
Im not getting into some fussy debate over voice actors.

Mirage is a unusuel character. Very quiet but a good warrior.
Soundwave is a very busy robot, spying, recording stuff and making energon cubes.
But he really should turn into somehing better than a tape deck.

Soundwave in Cybertron is vastly better.
