In all seriousness, what's up with all the background noise? I enjoy the podcast a lot but that **** is obnoxious.

Ok, what is everyone referring to here? I legit don't know.

Is there background static noise due to the recording quality? Is it a noise someone is making on purpose? Did Jon edit in something I am unaware of?

For real here...what is the actual issue?

Sometimes you can hear background noise like people talking (not on the show) or a TV. In this particular episode someone kept belching into the mic which, as the episode went on, became a little distracting.

Also it sounded like someone was playing with the Universe Onslaught mould, because I kept hearing the Siren and gun sounds from the electronics.

Hrm, ok...we will fix it next recording.

tbh, I did not hear any of that while recording.

Maybe someone was pushing mute thinking when making those noises and it worked for the call, but somehow made it onto the recording?

I don't even know if that's possible, but I'll correct it for next time.

If each member is recording their own voice track it's possible since they'd have to mute that input too.

All of the above and general toy noise every episode. Noise pollution totally distracts me from enjoying the show. Every time I started to become immersed again, belching, tv noise, toys clicking. Take your pick. In a medium that is solely sound, it becomes obnoxious incredibly fast.

Belching and TV noise should indeed never happen and we'll do our best in the future to eliminate it.

As for toy clicking, we've actually gotten a lot of feedback that it's part of the charm of the show. Also, it can help when talking about a toy to have it in hand sometimes and seeing as Transformers transform, this can be a side effect. In short - that's going nowhere, but we'll try to be sure not to constantly grate a ratchet joint into any microphones
