Unknown. None of the listings for him mention it. Yet he is the only Transmetal in the anniversary line, so no news might mean good news?

also the armada recolor of transmetal megatron (the hasbro megatron remake who doesn't have gps problems) how much value does he have with or without his minicon?

There are a lot of Transmetals, but $25 seems about right for one that still has good chrome.

the Armad Transmetal Megatron is hard to find, I am still trying to find one that is nice and less than around $70 or so

When I was finishing up the variants on TM Rhinox, I had no idea virtually all the Transmetals had redecos. I was half tempted to invest in all of them, until I randomly spied "Predacon".

Yikes! I thought the colour palette was hideous. Between that one and this...

The spell was broken and my variant collection drew to a close.

We had that one turn up in the shop, in a very bad state. Was tempted to fix it up but the colour scheme was just a no. I think the owner binned all the ones like that in the end

I can believe it. I mean look at Rhinox:

Default Grey, Blue and Red/Brown. No single colour is overpowering, the sharpest is probably the blue. Yet none of their overall palettes are garish.

I'd assume these redecos were aimed at BW fans, for Armada. But at least they could have made them all pleasing to the eye...

For the price Predacon goes for, I'm thinking I can get a Takara Transmetal Megatron for not much more than him, and it might be what I eventually do. I really liked TM Megatron

That's really the only reason I wanted any of those four, wish I had the foresight at the time to actually buy them, though. I do have Predacon complete with Micromasters, pretty he's the only Transmetal repaint I own (I have Megatron, too, but I don't dare transform him). I think I got Predacon in a really cheap lot with some other stuff some 15 years ago. Shame eBay doesn't keep records that far back and I appear to have deleted the email.

Mine's still in one piece, if that counts. His two Mini-Con are back in the Netherlands, then again I did separate all BW retool Mini-Cons on purpose. I will say his ratchets and silver plastic feel softer than I'd have liked, but I don't have the originals for comparing.

Go with what she said, I haven't handled mine in years, right now it's in a box full of AEC stuff waiting for me to make some display space. I do seem to remember the elbows being a bit weak, but that tended to be a problem with Megatron, too.

Transmetal Waspinator was my only Waspinator as a kid. He size really well with the T30 one, btw. They're almost the same size and mass.

Considering Transmetal Waspinator is a season 2 toy I'm sure they had already made 'Possession' by then.

I wonder if they would have had some personality bleed occur, if TM Waspinator had made into the show. A precursor to what they did with OpOp and TM 2 Megs.

Also TM Waspinator is another mold that was ripe for some G1, Seeker redecos.

Considering how much of a screwup G1 toon Starscream was combined with Waspinator's bad luck (and seemingly indestructible nature of both) and we would have gotten a precursor to that hilarious sequence in Animated where a now immortal Starscream comically tries to kill Megatron and fails over and over.

The design bits from Starscream feel too on point for this toy to not have been designed without Possession knowledge.

Also sending out a request to all of you: My Wolfang got some new parts and is nearly complete now, he only needs a Mutant Mask. If you have one, I really need it!
