Tragic... no movie is worth this. I don't know how I can possible enjoy this film now knowing it cost someone his life...

I managed to enjoy "the Crow" and so I think I'll enjoy this.
Still sucks to die on set. Makes me wonder who set up the dummy run if a car crashed into a tree...

I bet the guy was really excited to be working on such a cool and anticipated movie. Let's all enjoy it for him.

Agreed. I, for one, shall think of this film as a celebration of his life's work.

So, not enjoying a film, a film that the guy worked hard to make the stunts look real for the enjoyment of others, not enjoying a movie because a person died, is ok?
Thats like not watching Ninja Turtles because it was Mako's last movie. Or Street Fighter because it was Raul Julia's last movie etc etc.
Don't mourn him. Celebrate what he's done.

Or better yet, mourn him (in the right time) *and* celebrate his life.

Those examples are not at all the same, since those movies didn't actually CAUSE those people to die, they just died while the film was being made, from circumstances completely unrelated to the filming.
Yes, of course I'll still enjoy the movie because whoever this person was (still no name released yet, btw) would have wanted me to. It's just going to suck watching the Batmobile drive around and think in the back of my mind "wow, getting this shot and this scene finished cost someone his life"

Its all over the news down here at the mo cos the guy was a New Zealander, apparently.
Mind you, for our news to go ape about such things a person only has to wear undies made in NZL.
Still, sux arse for his family, his wife was interviewed on a NZL tv news show last night and she was pissed she hadnt' even seen his body yet.

Often people will die during the construction of buildings. It's sad, but in the end, these things happen- you can't not visit my city's new shopping centre full of guilt that people have fallen off cranes and such.
Though, now I actually say it, maybe I can a little.
Poor bloke.

Yeah, try saying that to his family's face. It's easy to make brainless, tactless comments like that when you hide behind a computer screen while trying to act like such a big macho man.
Everyone please ignore Spoon from now on, it's easy to see he just enjoys pushing people's buttons.
