Well i,ve started a production run of my mp-xx megatron and as always there were some things that i wanted to change ...so it,s getting te same treatment as my mp-02 traier for mp ultra magnus.... basicly what i will do is change some components, add more details, change the face to a more acurate megatron, light-up eyes and possibly a detailled chest interior with light as well.... the gun mode will probably change as well so there,s allot going on here and hopefully this will be allot better then my previous version....

so here how he looked before.....

and now for the first changes... the head and face;

might be a bit hard to see but the face has been retouched and allot !!
so this is the begining !!!

the face wasnt the only thing touched on the sculpt, you changed the helmet as well. looks really good mark, keep it updated!

well a little wip ......
i,ve manage to get megatron's essence more accuratly this time.... also you can see the new fully articualte hands as well....

and of course eyes will light-up !!

here is a small update !!!

ther will be a chest door to open ...there will be some details and possibly a spark chamber or a chamber with the heart of cybertron !!

the fusion canon will light-up purple like the cartoon effect.... eyes as well... fully articulate hands

and one big difference.... the fusion canon is placed on the exterior side of the arm !!! so the arm is not restricted in it,s movement and the canon/arm can be place in firing mode on top (turn arm) and it looks good !!!

allot more suprises and details coming !!! like the interior of the legs !!!
and also the color might be chrome color... but i'm not sure yet

You know, you really stop wanting an MP Megs once you see it next to this one. Absolutely awesome.

The head looks perfect, btw. I was wondering where this went...

It's hard to get over how amazing the robot mode is. I like it so much more than the MP Megatron. The MP Megatron has a better looking gun mode, but I wouldn't be playing with the figure in gun mode much anyway.

I wish they incorporated that detail into the official MP Megatron. Takara seems to have such poopy memory about the heart of cybertron chamber and spark chamber. Nice job.

update !!

megatron i coming along great !! new changes in this version.... you can see that the mid-arm section has changed to a more robotic look .... the crouch piece as well.... and the decepticon logo is 3d instead of a sticker..... there is still allot to do on this one.... next stop; side flaps and silencer...

my only critique is on the things coming up from the shoulders. Shouldn't they be curvy instead of straight angles?

hmm, I'm still puzzled in how you can change it into gun mode. The legs look thick. But i'm liking the interior fold out chest

depends on the version you look at... sometimes they,re round and sometimes they,re straight.... take you pick lol

as for the thickness of legs... you usually see them as thick as this in cartoons or animes and the transformation is somewhat complex... the only components coming off is the top of the shoulders, the canon/scope (this is new ,before it could,nt be removed but turned...) and the exterior pieces of the legs to make the arm rest.... the rest remais in one piece so it,s pretty good !!

I like that you can see those ball joints. I hope you don't cover them up. Its a neat idea to have a transformer that you can't see joints on the outside, but once you open him up, you can see how he works. Ratcheted joints would also look awesome in there, like little moving gears.
