Hmm. I might have to rethink my preorder. He's not nearly as good as I thought he'd be. Thundertron? Yes. Ultra Magnus? No. Lazerback? No. And I've tried to buy almost every single mold in the line. (Minus Cyberverse and Weaponizers. Deluxe and Voyager in this collection, only.)
I even went so far as to buy non show characters such as Kup and Rumble. (Both are nice, btw.)

I think he's a fantastic figure. The beast mode is excellent and i like the bot mode quite a bit as well.

That's awesome! Unless Lazerback turns out to be a singularly badass character in the show then I think I may try troop building him.
As far as the loose ankle joint goes, if tightening it isn't an option then I'd probably just fix it in place. It's nice to have that much articulation in the leg, but I wouldn't say it's necessary.
