Well, since images of these guys are already out, and I've been itching to put up some new S3 artwork, here's a look at the Animated Wheeljack and Perceptor models.

Wheeljack looks great, Perceptor however.... no bot with a cannon mounted on his shoulder like that should look that wimpy.

Personally I think Wheeljack looks just like Mixmaster and Perceptor looks like Prowl. Hey, maybe it's his Nerd Armour :lol:

It's great we're getting the two Autobot Scientists. I get the impression that Wheeljack is going to be a cocky bastard who tries to put down the weaker and smarter Perceptor and often steals his ideas and takes credit for it.

This made my day. These guys look so much like win...it wins. I would like to see a bit more of S3. Right now!

I think Wheeljack should be voiced by John DiMaggio (Bender from Futurama) and Perceptor could be voiced by Tom Kane (Professor Utonium from Power Puff Girls, among other roles that slip my mind right now). Those would be the perfect voice matches for them, unless of course they can get Paul Eiding back.

One husky guy with an oversized beard/moustache and a knack for inventions that are... wacky.
One skinnier guy with glasses, and a really big cannon.
Both scientifically, experimentation inclined.

It's the freakin' Mythbusters as transformers.
Not that this is a bad thing. Considering how often those guys blow something up for the heck of it, they'd fit right in.

I likes. Perceptor looks like the brilliant scientist type, while Wheeljack looks like the able-bodied assitant type. At least that's the vibe I'm catchin'.

I like everything about Wheeljack. From his manly beard to his multiple sets of belt pouches. Best animated design ever. I hope his ears still light up when he talks!

Perceptor though, I could take it or leave it. I feel he is just overshadowed by the sheer awesomeness of Wheeljack.
