The Takara Tomy Weibo page posted some new banners advertising Transfomers themed tensegrity style bases. These are display bases which give the impression of antigravity and they are made in Autobot Red and Decepticon Purple. One of the images includes a redeco of the inner bot for Transformers Kingdom Ultra Magnus but in Optimus Prime colours. It gives it that more boxy look of the original G1 toy. More details should be coming soon so stay tuned.

Just holding the Google Translate app up to my screen tells me the blue text says that Optimus comes with the gray stand so you can use it immediately.

"A set product with "Optimus Prime" that you can enjoy the display immediately."

They haven't shown a trailer. Maybe it just comes with the cab and the base. After all, if it came with a Powermaster trailer wouldn't that be the main selling feature?

Doing a quick comparison, no retooling; it's a straight redeco of the Kingdom one. The striping hides the shape of the main grille, plus the smaller one below the windshield is not painted.

In case anyone wonders, it's not a re-release of the Galaxy Upgrade one

Anyone else think its odd that we are getting a Magnus cab redeco without the trailer instead of another release of the ACTUAL Optimus Prime cab? Seems like a lot of extra effort

Not odd, this is just a bonus to give visibility to the new stands. So it wouldn’t be a big thing.

I kinda get it. It's to make it more appealing to collectors. It's not like this cab has been made into G1 Prime himself after all. And Prime's the most popular character (or at least 2nd most popular after B).

Never mind that it's kinda **** all on it's own.

It's probably the cheaper option since the UM mold has much fewer moving parts.

Earthrise and Kingdom are the same figure in different packaging, doesn't really fit with the rest of the figures on the lists that are all unique figures. You also forgot Shattered Glass Prime.

No one knows, looks like we wont have the info until Thursday. I'm guessing the stands will get regular retail releases and the pack with Prime will be a TTM exclusive.

It's an Optimus Prime figure based on the inner bot that comes with Kingdom Ultra Magnus. This is a set which comes with a new anti gravity display base. You'll let us know what you think!
