i was just curious as to what most of you do with your transformers toy collections.

do you leave them in the box factory sealed?

do you take them out of the box, check them out and then put them back in the box?

do you take them out of the box and put them on display?

i personally take them out of the box transform them and then put them back in the box for storage and to keep them from getting harmed.

I definitely take mine out of the box. I see no reason to leave them inside their plastic prison, all unhappy and not played with.

Than I'll spend forever trying to transform it (I'm still a newb, lol) and then spend another forever posing it and messing around with it.

My boy Ironhide is chilling on my dresser right now, looking all menacing and whatnot. Once I get a big enough Autobot task force, I will be ready to purchase some Decepticons and build a nice skirmish.

Should be fun.

Mine are all out of the box and posed in some sort of intergalactic fight on my entertainment center. My wife thinks I'm nuts. At least, the ones in my possession are - the G1's at my parents' house are in a plastic tub.

Hi guys, I'm a newb, too. I take mine out of the box and pose 'em in fighting stance.

I put gun-happy Iron hide shooting Barricade, while Bonecrusher is skating toward Bumblebee

I agree with SB, Transformers need their own space!

My gf thinks I'm nuts for adding this to my toy collecting hobbies. She constantly asks me sarcastically if I need more toys. I'm so glad she's pretty...lol :grin:

i have some on a shelf and my favs of my big computer desk. on the left i have primus in planet form along with all my fav autobots alot of G1 and MP optimus. on the right i have unicron in planet mode along with my fav decepticons G1's classics and MP megatron and starscream.
these are a lil older pics it doesn't look exactly like this.

hhhmmm... in general, i opened all of my toys and all of them are still on mint condition, no damage and joint are still tight and not flimsy... usually what i do with my tf toys is i usually create dramatic poses to recapture the cgi renders and so far im doing great im still working with the pics though...

I open mine and play with them. I do keep them in good condition though. Here's a couple of pics of my collection in play. 2 more boxes remain unplayed with in these pics.

It's a hallway. In the first picture on the right is my parents room. I keep that walkway clear so they can get around. The other 3 rooms are mine. They used to be my older bros, but they're gone.

I am collecting the leader class Transformers. Right now I just pose them in my office.

Now I am thinking about creating stop motion animation shorts with them. I am researching that right now.
