It clips on his forearm when in jet mode so his gun pod can hang underneath.

as ive tried everything and carnt get it to attach how it should

It clips on his forearm when in jet mode so his gun pod can hang underneath.

Problem is that it really doesn't work as it should. There's not much room and when one actually does try to put the gunpod on in fighter mode, the arms spread in a wierd fashion, even causing the legs to spread out.

I think, even if the intention was to make jetfire able to carry his gun in fighter mode, the practicality is that it just makes him look cooler in gerwalk or batteroid mode to have the gun on his elbow pointing back. For those familiar with Robotech, you'll know this gun pod position.

If everything is as it should be, everything should fit perfectly. Granted you can't have his forearm armor on when using the gun clip.

Yup, you are correct. My Supervalkrye (sp?) from Bandai which is a re-paint of G1 Jetfire has indentations in the arm armor to allow for the gun clip. Jetfire's armor doesn't have this indentation.
