I'm such a sucker for these black repaints. That is one badass looking figure. However, it won't be joining my collection, since I have no place for it, nor desire to spend that much.

I see it's sticking more closely to the original Jetfire paint layout, which is a bit of a pity really seeing as it means the part of the cockpit will leave a view of his face in jet mode. Not that I care much for this one anyway. It keeps reminding me of that mis-colored cell from the Rhino dvds. I dunno why, but it sticks to me that way now.

They sorta already did. His name is Tread Bolt. He is blue with yellow painted stripes which should not be hard to remove.

I don't think they do combined shipping... but, after having searched my emails, I remember they do send shipping confirmation.

Wrong mold buddy. There's certain characters that we pay homage too, this mold has been pretty good with them, and it is not meant to be used as a seeker repaint. Dreadwing and Treadbolt were fantastic.

Don't make it sound like the repainters are doing bad job. This is 200x better than the crap we've seen in the movie lines - Defender Optimus Prime, Too Much Bumblebee, This is getting sad Sideswipe. This is actually creative. And do the names really matter anyways? If you're turned off from a figure because of it's name then something is extremely wrong.

I get that "Gentai" is an obvious misspelling of "Gentei" (as in "Gentei! Gentei!"), but... "Darkfire"?

If Hasbro put this out in regular retail I would pick it up in a heartbeat, but other than that it's just a bit too pricey for now!
