Anyone have a walk through on how to fix the factory defect with bendy Ultra Magnus. They swapped the sleeves on both his arms and I can't figure out how to get them off to swap them back. I couldn't find anything on YouTube. Thanks in advance.

"All known samples of Ultra Magnus have his forearms misassembled; they were put on the wrong arms, so he does not have the full range of motion in his elbows. While it is possible to correct this, that the forearms are lightly glued together makes this fix daunting. "

Just force them off. It's a tight fit but you can get the assembled forearm pieces over the fists to swap and reassemble them, just be prepared for a slightly looser fit once it's back together.

Not working, there's a peg or something that I can't get pass even with an excessive amount of force.

I fixed mine, but I don't remember exactly what the method was. I seem to recall having to remove a pin.

Edit: A little googling to refresh my memory indicates that indeed, the "proper" fix involves pin removal, which is a huge pain.

You need something small, strong, thin to just push the pin out. It's hard to do, easy to mess up the figure if you slip, and just all around a hassle, but it can be done.

Which pin? I don't have the figure in front of me and don't exactly remember the details, but I assume one in his arm near the part that needs swapping. Elbow maybe? I dunno look at the arm for a pinned joint.

No problem.

Sadly, I got my UM out to look at and while I was playing around with Over-Run, the gun handle/tailfin snapped off. Fortunately it snapped in such a way that even with a chunk of the connector broken off it will still fit on fairly stably, but still. And this is after last year when my Treadshot from the same set had a hinge break off (lousy clear plastic!) I think this Battle in a Box is cursed! :lol:

As for bendy UMagnus himself, I just leave the elbow the way it is. I'm just curious how did Armada Supercon Prime/Magnus toy got the name Bendy?
