Japanese toy blogger Alfes 2010 brings us in-hand images for Takara Tomy's latest Transformers Prime Arms Micron offerings, AM-17 Swerve and AM-18 Airachnid. Swerve is an Autobot repaint/retool of AM-12 War Breakdown sporting a new head sculpt and Arms Micron. Like the rest of the figures with Hasbro counterparts, Airachnid features addition Micron ports and her own Arms Micron. Full galleries can be found by clicking here.

heh. Swerve looks like a KO of Breakdown. Airachnid...well...um...her Micron looks pretty cool.

I keep looking at swerve and all i think is "god I want breakdown,I really want Breakdown, why Hasbro? why!?!"

As for Airachnid.....I can't say something that hasn't been said already.

As for Airachnid... Takara Tomy tends to put more attention and care into their lines. However, this is the second time I felt that the Hasbro mold is superior.

I see that the scabrous wound on Breakdown's right inner chest plate has transferred to his Autobot counterpart.

As for Airachnid, both Hasbro and Tomy's are just...yyyech!

Does anyone else think that since we're not getting breakdown, this is the head shown on Ratchet in his instructions and a retool/redeco of Ratchet might be our swerve?

Not a fan of Swerve. The mold looks much better in Breakdown's colors. Airachnid is just a fail mold, but the addition of minicon ports actually looks good for once.

Breakdown definitely deserves to have the mold to himself, like what you said. And yes, Airachnid's mold is a lame, but but you can use the Hasbro accessories and use a little more paint instead of stickers.

Swerve looks awful well the colours and the head ain't all that either and airachnid her head is way better it still don't save the mold.

If you're already considering importing this for $30, I'm surprised you haven't already found online vendors selling the RiD one for $25.
